Beautiful in the Making: Gift Wrap Stamps

Hi there!

We’re back with another fun holiday project to get you inspired for the upcoming Christmas season. This week it’s all about our new Gift Wrap Clear Stamps that are back on hsn.com for a limited time: http://bit.ly/giftwrapstamps

Gift Wrap Stamps

These 30 clear stamps are the gift that keeps on giving! You can choose any design and turn it into a theme for your presents from the wrapping paper, to the greeting card, to the gift tag! Today we’ll show you just one of the many ways you can utilize this versatile collection.

Let’s start with the gift wrap! We paired the pinecone stamp with the Luminous Gold ink pad (from our latest set of Christmas inks) on kraft paper to achieve this particular effect. Stamping the pine cone back to back to create a cluster of 6 pinecones produces a really pretty result on gift wrap.

A tag for your gift can be made with the tag stamp art included in the set. We stamped with red ink on ivory card stock and trimmed around the stamped image with a craft knife.

Next we cut a 4.75” x 6.75” card layer from the kraft paper and used the same stamp and gold ink to create a pinecone border. Three pinecones stamped at the top and three more at the bottom. They look really beautiful!

Then, take a winter white ink pad (we used our Snowy White color) to stamp a sentiment in the middle. We chose “Peace, Love and Joy” but any of them work great!

Then, for a little something extra, we dabbed the ink pad along the border to give it a distressed effect. Layer on a card base, add some red twine and ta-da!

These are so fun and easy to use. Try different color combinations and stamped designed on place cards, gift tags and more!

Hello! I asked this last year, but never got an answer – I HOPE someone can help me! I was wondering on the sample cards for the Christmas Gift Wrap Stamps, how do I do the little pierced holes around the edge of the card stock, as pictured in the “Be Merry” card and tag. Did I miss something? Thank you!

Hi, Anna! I, too, have the same question about the drying time of the white ink – I am using craft card stock to stamp on. I have let it dry overnight and I just tried to use my heat gun to dry it and it still is wet. I am VERY new to stamping – so any help would be appreciated.

    Merry Christmas!

    Dear Anna,.
Good things come to those who wait. That MUST mean the holiday inks are on the way! Thank you, Anna for all you do, create, share and just plain make my life more beautiful. I am not well right now. Even crafting is difficult. But I simply look at my Anna collection and suddenly I feel better. When those inks return, I KNOW that will help. Have a lovely Thanksgiving and you and Georgie take good care of each other. I can’t wait to get going on my new card-making, as I immediately went straight for the Chanukkah items. Thanks for that. Really does mean a lot. Bye from Lefty Lou and three fuzzies as they sit in the window watching for the brown truck, as do I each week! Soon……..

Hi Anna, I won’t be using these exact stamps, but I will be using some of your Christmas stamps and your inks to create wrapping paper this year. Of course I will be using your kits to make Christmas cards. Everybody loves getting them. Just made two cards for my father’s and brother in law’s birthdays using your kits for men as well as the For The Boys die cuts, which are great! Your products make me so happy – they are so fun and easy to use.. Thank you!

I am going to take Christmas cards to the Nursing home and I am going to use the pine cone stamp around the edges of the sentiment inserts just like you did on the outside of the card. I am going to make the stamped gift tags for all my gifts this year. LOVE them. I have already got 30 of my Christmas cards made. I am working on them everyday now.
