Mix and Match Embossing Folders Tips & Tricks

Hi everyone!

First things first, let me thank you again for such an amazing day of shows on HSN last week. It was an unforgettable “Anna-versary!”

Many of you have asked about the different tools we used when working with the Today’s Special Mix and Match Cuttlebug folders and dies, so today we are going to give you some tips and tricks. We’ve found that enhancing the intricate designs on these folders is easiest after embossing- here’s a few of the items we used on the projects you saw:

Tools

  • Zig Emboss Writer (http://bit.ly/zigwriter) –We used this marker to color in the folder design for heat embossing. Just draw over the embossed design, sprinkle embossing powder and use a heat gun to create a gorgeous metallic effect.
  • Embossing powder and heat tool- If you don’t have Anna Griffin gold and silver embossing powder from the accessories kit we had on HSN, you can purchase similar colors at most major craft stores. Paper Source is a great place to find a heat tool and lots of powder shades (http://bit.ly/embossingpowder)

zigpink embossing powder

Whether you color the entire design or just feature bits and pieces, the result of this is stunning!pink and gold heat embossed

  • Tsukineko Dew Drop ink pads (http://bit.ly/tsukinekoink) – You saw me using these a lot on HSN because their size is great for these folders and they really bring out the design without looking messy.
  • Craft knife (http://bit.ly/xactocraftknife) – Whether you want to fussy cut corners or the entire embossed image, a craft knife is the way to go. You’ll also want to get a cutting mat f if you don’t have one (coming soon from Anna Griffin!)

inked frame

  • Tsukineko Sponge Daubers (http://bit.ly/spongedaubers)-  If you have a surplus of Anna Griffin ink pads that you’d like to use, we recommend getting some of these and using them to apply ink. They also work wonderfully!

  • Deco Gold Paint Pen (http://bit.ly/decogoldpaintpen) We love using these in gold or silver to color in the raised design. The only downside is the paint smell, but we think it’s well worth it.

  • Sanding block (http://bit.ly/sandingblock) – This is an old favorite in our bag of tricks! Try it on any paper with a white core, whether it’s super shiny metallic or patterned.

We hope this helps you create even more beautiful projects with this collection!

Lastly, if you were watching during the 9 p.m. show last week and are interesting in helping the last caller of the day, Sally, with her wonderful crafting charity please let us know. You can comment below or send us a private message on Facebook and we will get her information to you.

Xoxo,

I’m in the same boat I have all the mix and match set but I don’t have the dies. Are they available separately? Please help.I’m so disappointed I cannot cut out the centers of these as shown on your videos.

  2. Nancy S. says:

    1) May I please have Sally’s contact info so that I may help also? I am recovering from a total shoulder replacement so may be slow in helping at first, but I will help.
    2) I missed out on the TSVMix and Match folders and dies. Is there any place where I can get these?
    3) I gave my Cuttlebug to a friend who is new to embossing and die cutting, so I now have a Big Shot (Anna’s ivory and gold CB is really calling to me, how-ever). Could someone please tell me how to use the Big Shot for Anna’s dies and embossing folders other than the Mix and Match.
    4) For the second time I have missed out on the Pop-Up dies and am so disappointed. I missed them on the March show also, even though I ordered as soon as they were shown. Is there any other way to get these? Will they be back in stock at HSN, or offered when Anna comes back to HSN? (When is Anna’s next trip to HSN after the March show?).
    5) I have a few requests for flowers to see as embellishments, or even as dies: peonies, lilies of the valley, Easter lily (very important to the Irish in particular as Easter comes around). Also, I would love to see embellishments with vintage images of children with their animals , as in the art of Bessie Pease Gutman, etc. I would love to see a refill kit for “Fantastic Flips”. Is there a stamp available in the same design as the signature design on the back of some of the cards in other kits?
    6) There was a lovely lady named Donna Lee in Delaware who called in during the March show. I am not too far from her, if she allows any outsiders to join her little group. It would be lovely to meet some more avid Anna followers.
Anna, thank you for all the enjoyment your products bring. For orthopedic/rheumatologic reasons I do not get out very often and this makes me doubly glad to be able to order your beautiful items from HSN. You will never know how these kits brighten my days (and those of my friend, Bernice, here in the same apartment complex). I have found only one problem with the completed cards. They are so pretty, I almost hate to part with them! My best to you and to everyone who knows the joy of working with your products (as I will be once I figure out how to use the Big Shotwith these items).

  3. Lori says:

I purchased the mix & match auto ship with the cuttlebug last year. I was very disappointed that I could not cut out the centers (unless I did it by hand) due to the fact that no dies were included. I see that 2 are included in the new sets and I saw a post where the dies were sold separately but have been sold out forever! Is there ANYWHERE else I can purchase the 3 dies that match up with the mix & match so I can use them properly?

  4. Kay F says:

Norma –Did you receive an answer to your question? I am trying to help my girlfriend figure out a sandwich for these folders. It’s driving us crazy! I called HSN, Anna Griffin and Cuttlebug. None seem to have an answer for the eBosser and these folders. I was repeatedly directed to the matrix for General Cricut Embossing Folders & the eBosser.

  5. Darling541 says:

Hello, Anna. You mentioned in this blog post that your cutting mat would be available soon. Will it make its debut on HSN or somewhere else before September? Thx.

  6. Marty Fishman says:

I missed out on the Mix and Match embossing folders in January….will this first set with dies ever be available again on HSN? I certainly hope so and when will the other sets become available? I don’t want to miss out on those. I hope to hear back from someone. Thank you!

  7. Jennifer says:

Anna, will these ever be available again without the Cuttlebug Machine? I missed it on HSN and I cannot find just the embossing mix and match folders anywhere…I am so bummed!!!

  8. Ann True says:

with the evolution advanced no mat a came with it…. i have a platform mat b and rubber mat what would you suggest

  9. Kathleen Albrecht says:

Anna, I have been making some cards with the new folders. I have been using a chevron design paper to emboss with. I’ve made a birthday card and a baby card and the people who received really like them. When I get a little better I will post a card. I am going to work on a sympathy card next for a friend. These cards are such a personal touch to all who receive them. Thank you for sharing with all of us. You touch lives!

  10. Hobo says:

Anna, The first thing I made with the interchangeable folders was a sympathy card, which turned out very nice. I too had received two of the sentiment inserts that had two of the same side plates and today I received the replacements. Cricut does have good customer service. I wanted to share a tip with you. I was wondering about storing the sentiments with the folders and didn’t think that was such a great idea since you wouldn’t know which folder they were stored with. I did buy the gusseted sleeves, but I also purchased elsewhere a 3 ring binder and baseball card page protectors. There are 9 openings on each page and the sentiment inserts fit them perfectly. I am arranging like shapes together then putting them into a slot on the page then into the binder. I also wrote the sentiment on the outside of both the A and B plates with a Sharpie so if they get separated they will be easier to match up with their mate. This makes them easily identifiable and the binder just stores on a shelf next to your stamp binders. I hope others think this is an easy and relatively inexpensive way to store them.

  11. Deb Steele says:

Simply stunning Anna! I am a huge UK fan and always have been for many many years. Just bought from QVC on auto delivery. Can you send me help with sandwiches for my ebosser and grand calibur please? I have a big shot but seem to have worked one out for that. Keep up the good work Debs in UK.

  12. Alice says:

Anna,I love and use so many of your products. They are wonderful. I also enjoy your demos. As you know monograms a the big thing now, or at least they are in my area. I have 2 Cricuts but I cannot find the pretty curly monograms that I want to use for gifts, etc. Cameo has one that I love, but I do not want to dump my Cricut and buy a Cameo! Does Cricut have one and I am just not seeing it! Make us a cartridge with that pretty Script monogram, please!

  13. Lisa McDonald says:

    Hi Anna!
I am a huge fan and have been accumulating your beautiful products since the explore release. I have a problem however, I bought the mix and match folders and almost all of them have a little rough tab that I’ve had to shave off…which isn’t a big deal. However I was missing two plates. I had the right number of plates just not the right combinations. I called hsn and they couldn’t help other than to return the item and lose out on auto ship, I need help! Also, a little suggestion, it would be great to have a small decal to apply to out first batch of folders so they can be more user friendly which is what I expect from the next shipment since they have the design printed on them. I wish I could flip through and see the design on the outside , same with the inserts. Thank You so much!

  14. Leslie says:

Loved the shows Anna and I woild LOVE to get Sally’s info to help send cards to someone who needs a pick me up. Thanks for the tip on the inserts I made sure all of mine fit in and only had to trim one. I was able to make my first card with the new folders for a friend who recently lost her husband. I was very impressed with the verse and how well it turned out. Sympathy cards are the most heartfelt cards we can make and ir truly is nice to be able to personalize a card at a difficult time.

  15. Jonie Isenberg says:

    RE: Sally’s Project
I would like to either start a group to send cards or maybe just send them myself. I have not found very many card makers in North Carolina. Very unusual. If you know anyone close to Anson, Union, Stanly, or Richmond counties that makes cards would you give them my email? Anyway, please send me necessary info to start helping.

  16. Yvonne says:

I got all my loot and was so excited to make some new cards. I was sad when I found out I was missing an A plate for my “Get Well Soon” sentiment in my new Mix and Match Embossing Folders. After making a quick call to HSN, Anna Griffin Company, then Provo Craft, I got immediate results. Norma at Cricut was fantastic. I had the sentiment the next day. So glad Anna works with such a caring and helpful company. Very happy with everything I got and hope to make a lot of beautiful cards.

  17. Norma says:

    Hi Anna,
I would like to know what the plate combo is for the E-bosser. Please let me know. I really love the folders, absolutely beautiful, such as you!!!

  18. Sandie Alford says:

Hi Anna, I would love Sally’s information so I could also help out with the card ministry.
    Thanks so much!

  19. Sue says:

    I used the following sandwich:

A, embossing folder, 3 Bs, A and D. (I’ve had my machine a long time.) Worked great.

  20. Linda Valoy says:

Got my fabulous TS folders Tue. and can’t stop making cards. Love, them. I’m singing ( It’s all about that bug, that bug) to the tune of Meghan Trainor’s song. Here’s a tip that worked for me. When you are inking the embossing and you get a smudge on the card that you don’t like , put a butterfly on it Saved my card.

  21. Aurora Riffee says:

I want to thank you Anna for all the terrific things I now have to make cards with. I love, love, love the All about Her collection. The die cuts are to die for. I made a card already using it and I hated to let it go. The card was so beautiful! I may have to order another one of these. I made a step up card and it was super easy and beautiful also. Haven’t used by tsv embossing folders yet. I have to watch my recorded program to follow your directions. But I noticed when I tried to insert the middle that the edges were preventing the insert from going in. So I clipped them off and it worked. I have plenty to keep me busy now but could you send me Sally’s info so I too can make cards for her charity. Thank you Anna for making all these products for us. .

  22. Erma S. says:

Ms. Griffin, I just purchased your mix and match folders and die sets. Just wondering if you will come up with an storage box and sleeves that they will fit in- just like your embossing folders. Thank you, Erma S

  23. Patti Coddington says:

Dear Anna, I am anxiously awaiting for my AG delivery. Might I chime in on some things my BFF and I have for your future card projects? Here’s the good, bad and ugly of it all. She’s already received her goodies in the mail (last week). We would love to see more teacups and china either as an add-on or embellishments (we loved the AAH kit). We’d love to see flat flowers/roses to compliment the 3d flowers we already own. We’d also love to see more of a variety of flowers but especially white roses (we love those from previous kits) as well as coral and purple flowers/roses. Smaller groupings of flowers/roses. A kit with flat sentiments because we love decorating the inside of our cards too. OOOH, an all about friendship card kit would be lovely. I think we both loved the new 3d pop up card kit because of the flat and 3d sentiments and flowers! I don’t know if it’s just us but we didn’t appreciate the bugs/butterflies bodies in the card kit. Maybe once layered they’ll look cuter. Thanks so much for listening to our suggestions! It’s encouraging when we see our suggestions come to life (We sure do appreciate that.) Thanks for all the teaming with Cricut and your beautiful crafting style!

  24. Terri Elliott says:

Enjoyed watching and buying on Jan. 21st. Love all my goodies that have arrived and waiting on a couple still. Thanks for the tips!!! Terri

  25. Anna Griffin says:

Melody – on the video above, I show you how to shave off the little piece of plastic on the side so the sentiments fit. Watch the video and try what I showed you. Hopefully it will work!

  26. Anna Griffin says:

Paula – emboss the frame only first. Die cut the rectangle or clover out of another piece of paper and then emboss the sentiment. Turn the frame horizontally and tip on the sentiment horizontally. Now you’ve got it going the way that you want it!

  27. Sally Newman says:

I am new to “blogs” but hope it’s OK for me to post here how much I appreciate all the helpers who have contacted me about Father’s Fan Fare (note writing project) which Anna mentioned on HSN and in her Jan 27 Blog Post. There are no words to describe how happy I am to get so much help through Anna’s support and generosity. I’m using my new Cuttlebug Mix and Match Folders (autoship) like many of you and agree that they are absolutely wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! Anna’s you tube demonstration certainly helped me learn how to use these new folders. (I tried to use 2 B plates at first – wrong). Let’s hear it for great teaching and clarity!
A concern that we have when first writing someone on the FFF list is their possible hesitant reaction to correspondence from someone they don’t know yet. Anna’s cards to the rescue! All of Anna’s products make such beautiful, thoughtful, and friendly cards that possible apprehensive reactions are quickly dispelled. How could anyone not like an Anna Griffin card!
Huge thanks to Anna and to those of you who have contacted me (through Anna’s office) about FFF. My cup runneth over.

  28. Donna Tull says:

Oh my goodness. Got my big box with most everything in it. Love, love, love it all. I love the new embossing, die cutting, sentiment folders. I love the pop up cards. Wow. My family and friends will be blown away when they receive their next card. I just love my Anna products. They are all I buy now a days. The quality is unbeatable. Thanks Anna for all you do. I to would love to help Sally. So if you could, I would love her E-mail address. Thanks again for helping make me look like a pro.

    DearAnna,
Please tell Bob H. and anyone else with issues with the TSV folders and dies, call 1-877-7-CRICUT. They are fabulous!!!!!! Good luck and happy crafting! Sincerely, Lefty Lou

  30. Jannie Bell says:

I have a Cuttlebug and We R Memory Evolution. When using the Evolution, only use the bottom pad and the embossing folder, but make sure you set it to embossing or die cutting when you cut. Worked great for me.

  31. Lou Marks(Lefty Lou) says:

    Dear Anna,
I just received my new TSV folders. There was a problem, and just as you have said how wonderful Cricut and their customer service department is, may I second the motion. They were amazing, and I highly recommend calling them if ANYTHING is an issue. Friendly, knowledgeable, prompt and most of all willing to do whatever to help solve the problem. I had an issue several years ago with my golden Cuttlebug. Taken care of practically the same day I called. They, like HSN, will do whatever it takes to fix what ails you. HSN has less resources to do some things, but Cricut is awesome! Thank you for teaming up with such a quality company. Just like yours! I hope my situation is resolved soon. I don’t have a doubt. Good luck to all the other Griffinites- call Cricut! Sincerely, Lefty Lou

  32. Lisa Hess says:

Hi Birdie, could you please post the “sandwich” you used for your Big Kick? I actually damaged one of my new M&M folders using the wrong sandwich combo trying to do the correct sandwich combo. I’d greatly appreciate your help. Thanks in advance.

  33. Birdie says:

Anna, several ladies ere saying the new embossing folders don’t work on the Sizzix Bigshot. I have a Bigkick and my folders have worked if I used one less cut plate. Came out beautifully!

  34. Bob H says:

Gisele, you’re a champ. I called Cricut and after jumping through some hoops, I will be getting my replacement parts asap. I can’t thank you enough.

  35. Gisela says:

    Hello Anna,
Thank you for giving us the contact information for Cricut. I also had a problem with 3 of the Mix and Match embossing folders and inserts. What wonderful customer service , they are replacing these 3 items.
I just received my 5X7 metallic layers 120 pc and was surprised to find it did not come in a beautiful nest ! Did someone forget to put it in one, or does it just come in the brown shipping box ?
I would also like too help Sally with her card effort. Thank you .

  36. Claudette S. says:

So jealous reading all your comments. I am still waiting for mine. It was delayed due to the blizzard here in the Northeast. It is currently in RI and live in MA so should get it tomorrow.

  37. Paula P. says:

hey Anna! I’ve restocked my shelves with most of the goodies from the HSN show. I received a huge box yesterday and everything I ordered came in except the Pop-up cards. I know they’re on the way and I can hardly wait to get my hands on it. I was wondering whether you offer sentiments that would be used for horizontal cards? I know the circle and square sentiments can be used but those just don’t work well sometimes. Also, do you see a kit or two in the future for children and teens or aunts and uncles or grandchildren and godchild or stepmom and stepdad? We are a generation of mixed families and its hard to come up with something nice at the local store. What do you say, Anna? thank you for sharing your gift of class and style with all of us. God bless you.

  38. Melody says:

Hi Anna, I received my order last night and was so excited. Started to put the first plate into the embossing folder and it didn’t fit. I tried the second one which fit then the third on didn’t. So disappointed and called HSN and of course they are out of the TSV. Love everything else but I guess I will have to send the TSV back for a credit. Loved the metallic papers – just gorgeous. Thanks for all your creativity and sharing it with us.

  39. Dee says:

I can’t wait for my new folders and Pop-up card kit. Sooo glad I did the folders on autoship. Ya gotta do autoship on Anna! Thank you for creating products that add visual beauty and warmth to my life. My husband may not agree with the spending but I shut him up when I create a card for him or when he needs one!
    Thank U Anna!!

  40. Dee says:

Melissa, you may need a shim, i.e., additional plate and or rubber mat. I have the Cuttlebug and Big Shot and used an additional clear plate and or rubber mat if necessary to emboss. Try one addition first and go slowly from there. Hope this helps!

  41. Judy Vanzandt says:

I have been having an awful time trying to get an answer from HSN regarding your folders and die cuts. I ordered the folders and dies cuts only (no cuttlebug) just after midnight on wed. January 21st and when I never received them, I called and was told they were sold out. No explanation, no wait list! How can that be? Any help would be appreciated. I really was looking forward to these folders and dies. Thank you

  42. Bob H. says:

Thank you, Gisela and Deb. I now have two solutions that wouldn’t have occurred to me on my own. This is a great blog with amazing followers. Here’s a tip from me: when “painting” the details on embossed frames, as depicted above, non-artists like me might find the silver and gold paint pens with fine and micro-tips easier to control. I’ve done a few and am pleased with results. I ordered my paint pens just recently from Joann.com.

  43. Anna Griffin says:

Debbie- You do not need a second B plate with these folders because they are thicker. So you should stack them “A, folder, B” and run through the Cuttlebug. Hope this helps!

  44. Anna Griffin says:

Cindy- You can definitely use a brayer with these folders, we just personally found that inking these designs works best after embossing. Give both a try and see what you prefer!

  45. Dianna says:

Anna, I just got my folders and can not wait to start using them. I have a favor to ask you. Could you please come up with stickers or stamps that are for relatives. Such as Grandson, papa, mamaw aunt, cousin, etc. When making cards I like to make sure it addresses the relationship of the individual to make it more personal.

    Thank you,

  46. myrna hartley says:

Thanks for all the wonderful tips and tricks great ideas for all the new products. I am cleaning out my craft room to get rid of some old items and make room for the new Anna Griffin shelves. I want to start making these new folders with ink and embossing powders. I am so excited about the variety you have added. But I want my craft room clean especially after Christmas then I can start my NEW cards and special products.

That card is gorgeous I loved it I would very much like to contributed to the charity cards
I was looking for something like that.

You and the staff started the year off right for all of us.

    Loving affection,
    Myrna

  47. Deb L says:

    Hello Bob,
Do not cancel your auto ship, I would order it again for single ship or the larger kit. Salvage the parts you need and send back the larger or duplicate order as defective. I also hope this helps.

  48. Marianne says:

Got my box today and just got to open it and check out all the goodies. I adopted a 1 1/2 yo dog from a local rescue group named Jax this weekend. I started a card for Liz, the gal who runs the rescue, with the Best in Show collection not 5 minutes after I opened the box. The card will be from Jax to Liz to thank her for taking care of him until he found his forever home. I can’t wait to finish it! Thanks Anna for such a cute collection. I bought the TS folders, as well as the 12″ ones and the box to hold them. My credit card needs a rest 😉

  49. Bob H. says:

Hello Griffin fans, I wonder if I might ask your resourceful advice in resolving an issue with my mix and match embossing folders. None of my sentiment inset dies match! Thus, they are unusable. HSN cannot scalp the parts from the now larger kits and I don’t want to give them up entirely for a full refund, as HSN offered. I can’t see a way to fix the problem so I thought I’d ask for group help! I appreciate anyone’s advice. If nothing else, I imagine I could wait until the folders are available retail but that is not a very satisfying solution. Thank You! Bob

  50. Dalyce Mangum says:

Thank you, I should have bought 2 of the Juliet. I’ve been seeing all the wonderful cards made from it. I know I will need more.

  51. Linda E says:

Anna, I didn’t buy the new mix and match embossing folders because I wasn’t sure they would work with my Sizzix machine. I use your regular embossing folders and dies without any problems. I love the Cuddle bug but since I am on disability my purchasing craft supplies is severely limited, so if there is a way to use the Sizzix I would love to hear from you. I have bought your products for years and still have quite a lot of your old paper lines and use them for my heritage scrapbook pages. Thanks again so much, Linda

  58. Melissa H says:

I received my special of the day and tried to use the folders with Spellbinders Grand Calibur and they did not work. They slide out of the plates. Any idea what to do?

  59. Shirlene says:

I ordered the TS with the folder & die separetly – I did have to do a second order to receive the auto-ship – so if the mat is included with that – then I will return the 1st set of the TS with the folder & dies & receive a refund for them. Thank you. I didn’t receive the info on Sally via my email. Can you send that to me?

  60. Gracie says:

I am so thrilled so many people want to share the kind thoughts for others with Sally. When making a card for Sally’s ‘friends’ make another and take it to your local nursing/rehab/assisted living centers. You can’t imagine how many residents are ‘dropped’ off by their family and never receive a second thought. The staff will know the forgotten residents and will gladly put a card/note in their mailbox. It’s nice to be remembered. Thanks again Anna for your great products.

  61. Penny Mourer says:

I received my HSN order today!! Hope to use them this weekend. Thank you for designing such amazing products and for showing us the best way to use them. I am so looking forward to February 18th on HSN too!!

  62. Ann Hattier says:

Congratulations on your 5th Anna-versary! I jkust received my goodies and cannot wait. The popup cards are beautiful and the new embossing folders are fantastic. I can wait to start using them!

Please sent me Sally’s information when you get a chance..

Cannot wait to see what you have instore for us next!

    Thank you.

    Ann

  63. Patricia Barrow says:

I rec’d all my Anna goodies today and I’m so excited to play with them… Especially the frames so this is going to help me go that extra step adding the ink or maybe even chalk! Can’t wait to get started… Thanks Anna for all you do!

  64. Donna Bischof says:

I came home today and was so excited to see my box from HSN filled with Anna Griffin goodies. I can’t wait to get started. I have a community crafting club at school that has students come in and work on projects for our community. We did Halloween decorations for our life skills class and Christmas belly boxes for the Senior Center. We are working on Valentine wreaths right now for the retirement home. Can’t wait to show them all of the new embossing folders for cards.
Please share Sally’ s information and I will have my club make cards to send to her.
    Thanks,
    Donna

  65. Debbie Lyn h says:

I got my today’s special yesterday, thought I would try playing with them today. I don’t have a cuttlebug, I tried them in my big shot, but they would not run through, so I tried them in the evolution. Still did not work. I tried several combinations to see if I could get it to work, and thats when one of my folders broke at the hinges. Do you have any suggestions? Never had a problem runnin g your dies and folders before, but nor these folders are stiff and ticker. May have to a cuttlebug bug

  66. kim k. says:

    Please send me Sally’s information.
Today I made a card with the new embossing folders and dies. It turned out fantastic. I am sending it to my father-in-law to show him what I made after purchasing your great things with Christmas money from him. I experimented with several techniques to bring out the embossing and my favorite turned out to be using my colored chalks. I haven’t used them in years and it was nice to revisit them. I love crafting, but the best part about it is to be able to share it with others.

  67. cindy spence says:

Anna, do you not recommend using a brayer
on the new “cut out ” embossing folders? I know they are of a different material and are very deep
    embossing.

  68. Laura Lake says:

Oh Anna, I received Botanical kit and the Pretty Pop-Up card kit yesterday. Today is our 54th wedding anniversary and I made my first pop-up card. It turned out so lovely. It was such fun making it. There are so many die cuts so I really put a lot on the card. I look forward to making many more as this technique will add a lot to my card making. Thank you, Anna

  73. Marcie Smith says:

Received my huge box yesterday!!!!! So excited to start using my new stuff, and believe me I ordered tons. It took me forever to unpack it all last night and I still have to put it all away, but am thrilled. I got almost everything I wanted. The only thing I missed out on was the glitter paper. Sure hope you will be bringing that back. I even bought the Collectors Addition Stamp Set even though I had the sewing half already but did not have the hardware stamps. Now I have duplicates – oh well. It was a fabulous show. I only wish there were somewhere you could go to see all the lovely projects that you were showing us thru out the show. Wish HSN would keep all the demo tapes up for a while longer so that we had a reference somewhere. But thanks for all the above info. It is very helpful.
    Hugs,
    Marcie

    Hi Anna,
I am so happy to have just received the Today’s Special with your Gold Cuttlebug and the embossing folders (plus autoship)! The only thing is that you did not include the Clover and Rectangle dies with that combination. The dies are included with the package that does not include the machine. I just don’t get that. Is there any way to just purchase the two dies separately? HSN isn’t able to help me other than to purchase a whole other set of embossing folders. Please help!

    Reply

  81. Anna Griffin says:

Hi Linda! The 12″ storage box does not have sleeves since there are only folders and no coordinating borders at this time.

  82. Anna Griffin says:

We are happy to send Sally’s info over to you via email. Did you order the TS with the Cuttlebug machine? If so, the dies and rubber mat were sold separately. However, if you got autoship then you will receive an oval die and a rubber mat with the first autoship. We will check to see if more mat/die bundles will be available on hsn.com!

  83. Anna Griffin says:

We will be sure to send her info! There are a few fat quarters available on hsn.com now and hopefully more are coming soon.

  84. Anna Griffin says:

Hi Holly! The Juliet Collection will be available as individual sheets and embellishments on annagriffin.com soon. We will send Sally’s info over to you via email!

Anna, your 1/17/15 HSN shows were wonderful. You went all out with your creativity this show (as always!). I record all of your shows and watch them usually every morning. I have going thru a major illness for the past year + and am having trouble crafting – stamping and die cutting. So I watch your shows for inspiration and to help with my craft fix. The embossing is easier for me to do at this time – so, I am all ready to work on Valentine’s cards using your Juliet paper and the Lovely impressions folders – I love those bows and the dancing bow die. Still awaiting the new items – very excited for those. Those pop up cards are just beautiful and should be easy for me to do as well. It was so much fun to hear from all of your “Super fans” – you have such a following. Keep those wonderful new products coming – anxiously awaiting your next show… Thank you very much and Take Care, Peachy

  97. Jeanne Tipton says:

I did go through my craft room and did a big re-org, I had to make room for all the new friends You mentioned that you were will have a pop card for Christmas – can you please consider doing more – I love this card style and you make it so beautiful. Anna – thank you for your sharing your never ending talent. One last note – please pass along to HSN, they did a much better job during your presentations of showing your beautiful work, I would rather see your work than watch the host, they can keep talking in the background. We want to see your beautiful work. Happy 5 years to you!

  109. Linda Taylor says:

I just finished organizing my new shipment from the “Anna-versary” shows and I have a question about the 12″ embossing folders storage box. Is it supposed to contain sleeves like the regular size embossing folders storage box has? My 12″ box did not have anything on the inside like my regular size box had. If it is not supposed to have the sleeves inside will they become available at a later date? I love everything I got even though I was only able to get half of what I wanted to order. It was still a large box filled with 10 wonderful Anna products! I am getting ready to start making my first pop-up card as soon as I finish this post. Thanks for everything Anna.

  110. HollyG says:

    Hello Miss Anna & Co!

Yes! That card is perfect! Someday I’ll get to that level of card making! Lol!

I am loving everything I purchased, still waiting for the TS, and a few other things. I like it though, it’s fun when the UPS guy knocks. I love it, especially because I know what is coming.

Anna do you know if the Juliet Collection will be back? Also, I was wondering if the Ivory Damask embossing folder storage will be back?

I thoroughly enjoyed your shows and was happy to speak to you, always a pleasure!

Please include me on your list of those who would like Sally’s info….

    Thanks Again!

  111. Peggy Heavin says:

Thanks for showing the new ones I will receive next shipment .I just love every thing and my family and friends still talk about the Christmas cards I sent them .Thanks for making every thing so simple. You really do a great job.

  112. Connie Johnson says:

Q: Kathy Clayton: Can you use the mix and match folders with the Ebosser? If so how?
A: This isn’t official by any means but I got them to work with the following sandwich: D, B, 3 full sized embossing folders (came w/my machine), metal plate (if you don’t have one – try the magnetic sheet, folder w/ paper inside, & A plate on top.

Anna, I agree w/Kathy Moore & Pam DeKoeyer – dies for the mix & match folders. Also, I would like some “Tips & Tricks” scaled down to card size. The ones you have look like they are more for scrapbook projects.

“If you make them, we will come.”

  113. JOYCE FOOSE says:

I just received my folders today, unfortunately I have 2 “B” plates for the Best Wishes sentiment. How can I get this fixed?

  114. Debbie Fitts says:

Anna, I received my today’s special today. I am so thrilled to have this & look forward to the other items that I ordered in the next day or two. I would like to receive info on where to send cards for those that need extra love & attention – going through a tough time. I was somewhat concerned about how I was going to be receiving the Rubber Embossing Mat – so that I could use my dies from the today special?

    Anna,

I was so happy to get your new Mix and Match Embossing folders with the interchangeable dies. I got them today! I was one of those that bought all your new items last Wednesday. Everything is so awesome. I love your products! I can’t wait to start using everything to make cards.

I am getting ready to make my Easter and Mother’s Day cards but I noticed that there’s no dies for Easter or Mother’s Day (I waited to get the new folders). I have “For My Dad”, “Happy Birthday to You” (one in clover and square shapes), Thank You”, “Best Wishes”, “Just For You”, 2 sets of square blanks, and 1 set of clover blanks. My set didn’t include “Happy Easter”, “I Love You”, “For My Mom”, or “With Sympathy.” Does each set contain different sentiments?

  122. Bonnie M says:

I am missing my A1 plate for the get well card, but I just emailed Cricut and asked if they could send it to me.

    Hello Anna,

I received my TSV Mix and Match folders with dies and the silver flourish stickers today. I couldn’t wait to open them–Christmas all over again! Looking forward to some “me” time to make beautiful cards.

When will you be back on HSN? I always put the info on my calendar with the times you will be presenting.

Also, please send me Sally’s address for her cards for charity.

Thanks again for all you do and the beautiful products you create.

  129. Kathy Rhodes says:

I was amazed and delighted with the new products you introduced last week. I am in awe of your talent and imagination and have been buying your thiings since the QVC days. After I ordered so many new things, I thought I’d better try out the Fretwork Dies that arrived months ago–before the new things come. I was very disappointed that two of them do not cut all the way thru. I ran the frame three more times with no better results. But when I ran it East-West the long sides cut but not the short sides–the opposite of before. That convinced me there is nothing wrong with the die; I believe it is because my B plates are so warped from when I played with the Lace Trimmings dies. I heard you say that we should flip them and they would straighten out. Mine never did! Running anything thru my Cuttlebug with those plates is very difficult and takes all the strength I can muster. I would like to buy two new B plates to use only for embossing. Here is my important request, Anna. I always record to disc all of your presentations. But since I was in need of a new DVD recorder last Spring and could not find one, I called Panasonic and was told no one is making them anymore. One can’t keep papercraft shows on the DVR forever, so I AM HOPING THAT IN THE FUTURE YOU WILL PRODUCE INSTRUCTIONS SHEETS (OR JUST PICTURES) FOR ALL NEW CARD KITS. PLEASE11

  130. Mary Prather says:

Was ecstatic when I saw my HSN box on my porch. I got to work and have been a busy bee card artist since Sunday. I just love the new products and in particular the new mix and match dies. These open up a whole new world of card artistry! Thanks Anna, it was such a fun “Anna”versary ❤️

  131. Patricia Rigg says:

Thanks for sharing your supplies so we can use your techniques in our own creations. I noticed that you use the dabbers when inking the raised portion of the embossed card stock. I have found that I get a much better result from using 1/4 of a round sponge (I think Stampin UP), I hang on to the point & use the curved are to ink the surface. It seems to be more likely to hit only the high spots as long as you use a very light touch. Circular motions works best for me. I received my new embossing folders today & I’m very anxious to sit down & give them a try. Thanks for all you do to make our creativity easier and more elegant.

  132. Laura Lake says:

Hey Cheryl, I received rectangular plate B plate for Happy Birthday to you with a mismatched A plate for Happy easter. I called HSN but they are sold out and I do not want to return the set. I think we have each others plates. Is there some way we can send the plates to each other?

  134. Pam DeKoeyer says:

    Hi.
** requesting a Hydrangea die & more folders.
The folder we have is beautiful but a die that you could make in single, double or triple layer would complement the folder.
**I guess it would be a great kit with layered flower dies and folders to match!
    Thanks, Pam DeK

  135. Coco says:

I so enjoyed your shows and was so honored to speak to you! (Tricia – aka Lin M. – that’s what happens when you go by your middle name. 😐 )
After I watched a couple of your shows I was inspired to create cards. I was having so much fun creating with the Pop-Up Card Kit I won and your Lovely Impressions folders & dies but did not want to miss your 3PM show. So I took my laptop in my craft area and watched you on HSN Live and crafted with you. That was so much fun!!! 🙂
You should receive a card from me soon.
Again – Thank you Anna & your wonderful staff for all that you do to bring beauty and elegance to papercrafting!

Anyway, I am having a blast with all of my new toys! Thank you so much for great products!

  152. Gina Karess says:

I meant to add to my previous post that I would also like Sally’s info to send her cards for her charity project, thank you.

  153. Kate Molnar says:

The videos are on the HSN website. Go to the ‘Crafts’ tab (top right) then click on ‘Shop by Brand” (Anna Griffin). There are 4 videos listed right next to Anna’s picture.

  154. Eleanor Brooks says:

  155. Vivian Olver says:

Today I received the rest of my total order. It looks like I got one of everything! The pop ups are “da Bomb” I’ve already made five, and everyone loves them.
Weeks ago I set up two days off to play with my cards. Just as well that I don’t have to go out in the “near blizzard” that Pennsylvania got last night. Thank you Anna Griffin for all your work so that our playing is so much fun. Now just have to try out those new TS embossing folders. All the best, Vivian

  156. Tammy Whitley says:

    Hi Anna
Im so glad you had fun on your Anna versary
on HSN. I had fun watching as always and I can’t wait to start using my new folders. Everyone of my friends ordered them, we all have great taste!!!! Although I will never be brave enough to call HSN when you are live on the air and talk to you, I just wanted to tell you that I have followed you for a very long time and your products just keep getting better and better!!! Thank you for doing what you do and making so many people happy!!! Hugs

  157. Shirley Kinney says:

I purchased the TSV at 4:30 in the afternoon and HSN was still selling the TSV at 10:00 p.m. that night. However, the next morning, I received a message that my order had not been filled due to the fact that they did not have enough of the product to fill orders, I am disappointed as well as a little upset at this. I was so looking forward to receiving this product. How many others did this happen to????

  158. Dianne McDonald says:

received most of my new supplies and I am so excited! The popup cards are more beautiful in hand than the TV shows! Thank you and I love my Cricut Explore so I cannot wait for 2/18!

Thank you for the tips and supply list above, it makes it so easy to gather them for purchase.

  159. Diana Butland says:

During your presentation on HSN on 21st you referred to” how to videos”. I got impression they were something we cut purchase. Called HSN & they didn’t know.
Please help by clarifying where to get the videos. Your blog today spoke of supplies and that is help but would really like to know about the videos. Thanks so much. All but my pop-up kit have arrived, so excited to get going o projects.

  160. Elizabeth A says:

Outstanding recap of the tips, thank you so much! Still looking forward to all the goodies arriving!

  161. Mary R. Huff says:

Anna, Oh dear time to pick again and I love aqua the best!

I could hardly hear u talking on here even with my speakers turned all the way up, what a bummer. Is anyone else having that trouble and yes I had u unmuted:-)

I love my pop-up cards, the Valentine collection of papers etc. I’m having fun with and my metallic pens arrived today!!!

Again, blessings to u and your staff and those on the East coast u are in my prayers. It just missed us here in lower Michigan.

  162. Dee says:

I have received about half my order from the anniversary show and should be getting the TSV and a few other items today or tomorrw. So excited they are predicting snow for us on Friday….maybe a snow day or should I say play day!!!! Thanks Anna!!!

  163. Mary Ann says:

received my pop up card kit today — OUTSTANDING. Just love your card kits I’ve used several of them. Please keep them coming. Your products are the best quality, and a wonderful value.

  164. Sandy H says:

Absolutely brilliant! Just when I think you can’t come up with anything better…sure enough you DO. I got all my goodies (a LOT Of goodies) and have used a lot so far.
I have a helpful hint. I have so many embossing folders & borders (136 to date with the 4 new ones) and trying to find a particular design was daunting, plus the designs are hard to see on the opaque folders. So I got some plain card stock, cut it to size and embossed every single folder, numbered the sample and the folder, put the samples in a big binder, filed the folders by number in a wooden drawer cube from Michaels and when I am searching for just the right one I just leaf through my binder and go to my drawer and pick out that number. Takes time to set up, but saves time when crafting. I number the border strips too and keep them in a separate drawer.
Would also like to help Sally. I don’t get to join you on Facebook, but am a dedicated Griffies ….Griffinite sounds too formal for me…Superstars have groupies, and you are so cute and down to earth, I think Griffies sounds cuter…like Georgie. Lol. Sandy H

  165. Carol says:

Amazingly, as I was reading this post, the postman (errr, postlady) arrived with my order of goodies from your HSN AnnaVersary. Now I’m doing the “happy dance” as I go off to play! Thanx for the tips and tricks!

  166. Kathy. Moore says:

Since I do a dismal job of fussy cutting , I wish you would come out with dies that cut out the frames I just purchased with the TSV

    Thanks

  167. stormy miller says:

Thank you so much for your great tips.Do you have one to make the xo die cut? No matter what I do, this die will not cut. No problems with other ones.

  168. Aleatha says:

Hi Anna I just received my tsv today ! Can’t
Wait to start playing with it , unfortunatly one
Of the clover shape inserts are mismatched.
I also ordered the stamps, silver flourishes,
& the 12″ trick folders. Im going to have to
Hide from my husband when the bill comes.
O:-) I cant wait to get rolling. I love the way the paint pen looks on the embossings. Im
So excited really don’t know where to start!!
    ♥♥♥

  169. yadyra marrero says:

Thanks for all the tips..as soon as my order arrives I’ll be trying some of them…love the ideas..

  170. Konni A says:

I have MS and got sick right before the “Anna- versary”! I’m reading all your exciting emails. So sorry I missed out.

  171. Susan Urch says:

Please can you direct me to Sally’s web site

Can’t wait to get everything I ordered last week and get down to making lots, ‘N’ lots of goodies

  172. Konni A says:

Hi Keri! I simply purchased a fabric basket or shelf tote as I have heard them called. My husband cut dividers out of plexiglass. These work beautifully and were inexpensive for the many different selections of embossing folders I have. I also have left them in their original packaging. That’s just what works for me. Hope it helps.

  173. susan Weatherly says:

I ordered 7 things and the only thing that hasn’t come is the Today’s Special. I love, love , love all of the other items.

  174. Cathleen says:

And these are so nice . You can store all of the same shape inserts in one sleeve because of the gusset. I labeled all the inserts on both sides & another label for the sleeve.I’m just ocd about my craft storage…it works for me.Because when I craft it looks like “who done it & ran” So straightening up is much faster this way. I do love the new storage folders. For the new dies but was wondering if the old style will also be available if you make more clear embossing folders?

  175. Karen says:

You are just priceless!! I enjoy making cards and when people ask what is my favorite brand, I say Anna Griffin. Such elegance, class, intricacy, beauty, and I could go on and on, Thank you so much for sharing your gift of design with others. I recorded your HSN visit and have already watched it over and over. Hopefully my treasures will arrive today and I can enjoy the many items I purchased this evening. So excited!!!!!!

  176. Jonie Isenberg says:

I have never been taught to use a craft knife. Usually I learn things from tutorials or just try and try until I get it right. Do you have a tutorial about cutting with a craft knife? Usually when I get out my craft knife, I get the box of band-aids out as well.

  177. mary anne guth says:

    Please send me Sally’s information.

Looking forward to the arrival of my HSN order. I continue to hare off to the door anytime I hear a sound, my poor puppies believe I’ve lost my mind.

  178. Pam DeKoeyer says:

Anna, you are fabulous! You help make our cards soooo pretty. I’m in love with all your products.

** I agree with a lady who commented that it would be great to have dies that cut out outside around the intricate folders so no reason for craft knife. Also would like a Big box of just flowers for all our projects. Single layer would be nice. ***

Please keep the card kits coming with strong adhesive
    on the embellishments.
    Thanks, Pam DeK, Glendale, AZ

  179. ANN ROBBINS says:

    Hi Anna,
Just got my Today’s Special Value from last week’s show. Tuesday is Craft night so can’t wait for Show and Tell tonight!!! Also so glad I got to speak live with you last week. What a thrill – almost like I got to meet you in person!!!!!
    Hugs
    Mstgane
    Ann

  180. Gayle says:

Dear Sweet Anna, Unfortunately I was working when your show was aired but I did record in time!! I paid off my HSN bill now that I am back to work and full time this time. I of course went to all ANNA GRIFFIN toys and you certainly outdid yourself this time. I was in total amazement of your embossing folders and dies. Incredibly gorgeous. Now that my bill is paid off I certainly am going to splurge a little (or a lot). I think I deserve it as I lost my dearest truest friend a couple of weeks ago. We were best friends for over 30 years and i am devastated and my life will forever be broken. We were closer than sisters. Just this last Saturday my mom passed. It really is a difficult time and I was smiling as I was watching your video on this site. I thank you so much for your talent and kindness. God Bless you Anna, you are one in a million. I have a lot of your items and recently finished a new craft room. Now I am looking forward to perking myself up with help from all your creations.
    Gayle xoxo

  181. Barbara Chapman says:

Love all I have gotten so far. Am waiting on one item. Could not wait to get started. Would love to help Sally with her charity. Please send me her info. Thank you

  182. Sharon Steinke says:

I would like Sallys information please. Also, will you be co.ing out with a metal platform that holds cutting dies in place? Another company has one but I would much prefer a Cuttlebug one. Thanks. My corporatist came and I can’t wait to open the box!

  183. Nikki Anderberg says:

Great shows Anna. Just received my silver flourishes and metallic cardstock today Beautiful! I should receive the rest of my order on Thursday. Can’t wait. I would love to help Sally with her charity. Would you please send me her info? Thanks for everything!

  184. Mary says:

My order arrived, safely, yesterday. Heading up to try the new embossing folders in a few minutes. Thank you for the ideas / inspiration. Keep the beauty coming, Anna!!

  185. Carrie Sunderin says:

Have not yet received my goodies but I am replying to request information on participating with the lady who mentioned her card ministry for people struggling with various hardships. After the show was over I did a search to see if I could get in touch with her myself. I couldn’t find anything but if you have her contact info, I would be grateful. TIA.

  186. Jonie Isenberg says:

I received all my purchases last night in one (1) box. Yes, ONE BOX. The box was torn open, but the lady who cleans my house was still there and she helped me get in the rest of the way open. Because of your excellent packaging, nothing was damaged, That was a miracle. I am a little overwhelmed with all the things I got. I can’t decide what to do first. I asked HSN what tools you were using, and they were going to try and find out. Luckily, one of the Griffinites, gave me a list of what she thought you were using, and I immediately ordered from AMAZON. I am a Griffinite, but have never gotten to speak to you, so I didn’t even try. I think Grama Pei spoke for both of us. I talk to her each day and she seems to keep me grounded.. She gives me advice about my panic attacks and depression, and after talking about her problems, I will not complain again. Thank you for all you do! I did send you a message about the lady who makes cards for those in difficult situations, and I certainly want to help out. I will get her info when you post it.. Thanks again for the “Handmade by” and the “From the studio of” stamps. When I asked for them I had no idea that it would actually come to fruition. Thank you so much. I am overwhelmed as to what to do first, but I will start posting my creations on FB. I might not be the most traditional crafter, because I am the kind of person who colors outside the lines. I’ll let you be the judge if are too far out in left field. Thanks again, and can’t wait for auto-ships.

  187. Yvette says:

Like alot of the ladies, I am still waiting for my orders to arrive. I am a novice at cardmaking but with AG folders I will look like I know what I am doing. Congratulations on your “Anna”versary and can’t wait for February.

  188. Gina Karess says:

Anna, here is a suggestion for dies that I think everyone who got the today’s special would love – how about making dies that cut around the outside of the embossed card fronts, instead of having to use an xacto knife? I realize there are probably multiple versions that could be cut out but I’m sure you would choose a beautiful one.

  189. Lynda says:

Hey, Just got my card making embossing and die cuts – Love Them!! Do you know when you will be getting the pop up cards back in , also the For Him and For Her embellishment .

  190. Anna Griffin says:

We are checking to see if the mat and dies will be available again separately. Did you choose the autoship option? If so you will be receiving a mat and an oval die with the first autoship!

  191. Anna Griffin says:

Which collection are you referring to, Emilie? We recommend die cutting the border first, then matching up with the design in the folder and embossing.

  192. Maw J says:

Received my TS and a LOT of other AG goodies that I had to try immediately ! They are absolutely gorgeous ! They are prettier than they looked on the show! Thank you for the great looking cards we get to make and the joy you give us and the ones we make all these for!

  193. Kate Molnar says:

Hi Anna! I too really appreciate your tutorials and the info you provide on various products, etc. I definitely will be purchasing some sponge daubers.

I also am looking forward to seeing what you’ll have in your craft accessory line along with a cutting mat….maybe a scoring board, bone folder and ??? Whatever you have, I’m sure it will be something I want!

I’m also looking forward to your home decor line. There’s lots of ‘new’ coming up and I can’t wait to see it all !!!

  194. Keri Parish says:

I purchased with auto-ship, but was wondering how you are storing all the folders and incerts? I want to easily find the pieces and not spend tons of time searching.
    Thanks!

  195. Debi says:

Oh my gosh!!!!! I just received ALL, yes ALL of my Anna goodies from the HSN Anna ceremony. This is absolutely going to take my card making to a whole new level. I am so excited!!!!! Thank you, Anna!!!!

  196. Cheryl Wells says:

Received all my new goodies – however!!!!! I received an A & B plate for the rectangle Happy Birthday to You PLUS an extra A plate and received the B plate but no A plate for Happy Easter so can’t use it. I called HSN, and they told me the AutoShip was sold out but I could order the same order without Autoship – guess I won’t be able to use the Easter plate.

I love all the folders and the pop-up cards and the Juliet package. Please send information pertaining the last caller – I would like to help.

  197. Emilie Boyd says:

Have almost all of your folders but am having trouble with the border die cuts. How do you match them to the embossing strips? I am doing a wedding album and your folders are awesome additions to the bling in it. Would like to use more of the border strips. I think I am border strip handicapped. LOL

  198. Paula Bowie says:

Still waiting for my Very First Anna Griffin order….the special of the day last Wed!I also signed up for auto ship! How will I survive til May?! Horror!

  199. Gale says:

Thank you Anna for all the greatness that you have given to us. I appreciate your tutorials and information. I love your products. I look forward to the list of items I ordered last week.
I would like to receive information to help Sally with her crafting charity
    Thank you,

  200. Suzanne says:

Thanks anna for the details on the tips and tricks that you used on HSN. can’t wait to get my goodies…and can’t wait to buy more on your return in February. I think you have a typo on the kind of paper to use when u use a sanding block….I think it should be white core paper and not solid core…this should allow the white to come thru. I hope I’m right on this.

  201. TamiB says:

Thanks for all the tips – I was trying to take notes during all of your shows…plus I DVR’d them for future reference since it all goes by so fast! Just got my TS folders and can’t wait to start playing!

  202. Susan Goss says:

I have been using your embossing folders for some time. One thing I have found to make a beautiful card is to use pastel chalks. I use a Q tip and rub it on the chalk and then chalk the embossing. I can use any combination of colors and “paint” the embossing. My card turn out beautiful. Chalk can be messy so I recommend getting a chalk eraser to get any smears or mistakes. When your finish just do a quick spray with a matte finishing for pastels.

  203. Sharon Crosby says:

Could you please forward the information for Salley from N,C, concerning Father’s Fanfare to me I would certainly like to get involved with her card giving.
    Thank You
    Sharo Crosby

  204. Alice D says:

I am so excited. I received my new AG Cuttlebug with folders and inserts (396175). However, I noticed that the rectangle and clover dies are not included. I will also need these dies and for my future autoship items. Can you make these available through HSN?

  205. Polly Zastawnik says:

Love the new concept with these embossing folders, I cannot wait to get mine, they should be arriving today! Yay! I got the auto ship so looking forward to all the great folders to come. I already have your Cuttlebug!

  206. J Meisen says:

I received a couple of the items, so far, I got my glitter papers and the “Paper Tricks” folders. I’m waiting on the TSV, always depends which HSN distribution center/warehouse is sending it. I’m in Southern CA, so if its from the DC out here, it comes quick! Enjoy, everyone!

  207. Gaila says:

Spent some time yesterday afternoon making up samples of the mix and match frames and sentiments to put into my personal crafting “catalog”. Love the fast shipping, and of course the lovely results. Waiting for the pop-up card kit to arrive, hopefully today.
Anna, you are A-Mazing! Glad your Anna-Versary was such a great success!

  208. Karen says:

Anna, I ordered the Cuttlebug and Mix and Match folders and received them yesterday. Although I am looking forward to playing with them, I didn’t realized that this set didn’t come with the matching dies. Are the dies going to available for purchase separately?

  209. J Meisen says:

Hi, there! I’ve been cardmaking for a long time, I use card stock, so I cut/fold to the size I want. I also use a scoring platform so that I get a good, crisp fold. But you can also buy packs of blank cards, any office supply and craft store, I’m sure also on HSN, if you’d rather.

  210. Dyan says:

I have a helpful hint for the new mix and match plates. I used a sharpie to write the inscription on the outside, so I wouldn’t have to keep opening them to see which one I was looking for.

  211. Karen Davidson says:

Anna please send me Sally’s info want to help brighten day for others! Waiting to get my order on UPS now due for delivery today!

  212. hobo says:

Imagine my excitement to get the UPS email that my AG package was on the truck for delivery yesterday, followed by another email and disappointment that the truck was going to change to a different delivery date because of the blizzard in CT. So near yet so far! But it is supposed to be coming tomorrow. We got socked in by lots of snow, there are travel bans all over New England, schools are closed as well as businesses. I have to say I really like the cold and the snow, but not when it halts my AG delivery! But I understand and I got another email that the package was safely back at the UPS facility. Rather it and especially the driver was safe. And it gives me something else to look forward to extending the anticipation. I live in a small town and have a well, so when you have no power you have no water and no heat because the furnace has an electronic ignition. We have been with no power for a week during hurricane season, we were lucky now in not losing power, but my bathtubs and large cooking pots are filled with water to be used for toilet flushing just in case we do lose power. You miss all the fun of power outages and traffic crippling snow by living in Atlanta! The quiet is amazing, the snow muffles all sounds except for the gale force winds. This would have been a perfect day to play with my new AG toys. But there is tomorrow! And now I must begin the task of shoveling snow. This day is a Robert Frost poem come to life.

  213. Maureen I says:

Just got my order and what can I say but WOW! Anna, you have totally outdone yourself AGAIN. Love the new folders and I can’t wait to get some play time. Thanks for the tips!

  215. Evie F says:

  216. Elizabeth L. says:

Thank you, Anna! I can’t wait to receive my Cuttlebug and the embossing folders and start playing. Love, love, love the tips you teach us here!

I would love to help Sally with her wonderful charity crafting. Please do send me her information. Thank you kindly!

  217. Mary Hagler says:

  218. Carol Henderson says:

Anna, I had surgery the day of your “Anna” versary, but as soon as I got home I tuned in and groggy or not I purchased. I’m not sure what I bought but it will be great. I am not a facebook person so can’t get on with your “big” guys but I love you anyway!

  219. Lynn says:

What do you recommend to use as the base for the card that we would use to adhere the newly embossed frame layer? Do you sell the 5 x 7 card bases or do I cut a piece of cardstock and fold? Or what type of paper should be used? Sorry, I am new to cardmaking, but very excited to use the new embossing folders!!! I did not see this mentioned in any of the presentations on HSN. Thank you!!!

  220. Jodi Boyd says:

I would love to help out Sally’s charity, if you could send her contact info, that would be great. It’s important to pay it forward, & if we can do it creating with our love of scrapbooking, all the better! Thank you, Anna!

  221. Brenda Raleigh says:

Have some fun for me! May or May not be getting mine. Back ordered for me when I ordered at midnight. They would have come today with my other things.

  222. BONNIE Bethke says:

Still waiting for my wed. Tsv maybe later today.
I help Hospice families put together cards they will need. I have a craft room full of Annas beautiful things.

  223. Julie says:

    Hi Anna –

I am so excited for my package to arrive!

I am so sorry that I missed the information that the 13″ A and B plates for the long embossing folders. There are NONE on HSN.com.

Can you please help me know when they will be available again?

    Thank you!

  224. Marjorie E. says:

I absolutely love the pens. The effect is awesome. Thanks so much for your wonderful blogs. It’s always so fun to see what’s new and learn some new techniques.

  225. Barbara Hinchey says:

Would love to help Sally w/ her Note card effort! Please send info or connect me to her info! So great to hear what she is doing! Thanks, BH

  226. Stephanie Hurley says:

I received my box of goodies from your shows on HSN yesterday. I live in Massachusetts and have a “snow day” today & tomorrow. I’ve already shoveled my driveway (18″ of snow!), so now I’m going to “play” with my Anna Griffin TS, papers and stickers that I purchased and make some Valentine’s day cards for my family and friends. Thank you, Thank you so much! I love it all!

  227. Kate Knutson says:

Thank You So Much for this blog. I got my order yesterday, and I was struggling a bit with how to use it. I actually started using a gel pen like you have done with the paint pen. Your ideas with the product details will certainly help. 🙂

  228. NANCY Buretta says:

can’t wait to get my todays special folders in the mail. They’re supposed to arrive tomorrow. 🙂
