  1. politie in beeld says:

Simply want to say your article is as surprising. The
clearness in your post is simply nice and i could assume you’re an expert on this subject.
Well with your permission let me to grab your feed to keep updated with forthcoming post.

Thanks a million and please continue the gratifying work.

  2. Carolyn. Shema says:

I am also planning on arriving early and would love to do the Tea. Coming from Gainesville, FL.

  3. Kathleen Spencer says:

I also live in Michigan. I will be attending and driving down to Atlanta by myself. I just cannot wait.

  4. Ann says:

That’s a great idea. I am sure their will also be many mementos and memories ion the making.

  5. Ann says:

You are so wonderful. Thank you for this opportunity. This will be my vacation this year. At the Ritz! And I am looking forward to meeting you and learning new things. This will be a twinkle in my eye thinking of making new friends and upping my creativity.

  6. Ann says:

I would love to go to the tea also. I am living in Charlotte but lived in WA state for awhile. So excited to be going to this. Have not been able to craft for a year or two but just busting out my supplies and the AG stash I’ve ordered along the way.

The tea would be a lovely experience and a great way to meet before the incredible event. I might faint meeting Anna.
I am so blessed to be able to go to this.

  7. Michelle Massey says:

Oh, please, please, please do this again. I want so much to attend but we already have vacation plans made for Disney during this time. Sounds absolutely amazing! Have fun everyone.

  8. Grama Pei says:

Loretta, I think your best bet right now is to contact American Crafts. I expect they will know. Good luck!

  9. Grama Pei says:

Deborah, this should be the perfect thing for boosting your happy! We will get to meet, I think, and I am looking forward to it!

  10. Deborah Perry says:

What a coincidence! BEAUTIFUL area of the country! I am looking forward to meeting you!

  11. Darleen Maahs says:

I’m so jealous,, I so would love to be there with all the Anna fans and the Griffinites. It would be like heaven.
I do wish you all a wonderful stay and happy crafting.

  12. Michele Ciccone says:

Hi Deborah. I am coming from the NYC area so we have something in common besides our love of all Anna Griffin products. I have lived for the last 30 years north of NYC in the Westchester/Putnam county area of NY.

  13. Deirdre Davis says:

Sounds amazing. But for that price, I would need a little more notice. Hopefully this one will go really well and you will do one next year.

  14. Diane says:

The Atlanta event sounds amazing, but it is something for which I would need to save over 12 months’ time. I’d also need to add in air fare. I hope some videos become available from this terrific party!
I enjoyed the HSN hours, and bought a cartridge. I wish you would be permitted to talk longer and display your creations without the sales pitches and interruptions from hosts/esses, but I guess that’s to be expected. I passed along the idea of using the elements from the gatefold folders to a friend who is designing her own wedding invitations. I hope she wants them because I would like a chance at making the covers.
BTW – your metallic shimmer papers are excellent! I have used some in Christmas card designs and the embossing just rises above anything else on the market. I would love a gatefold for a 5 x 7 card so I can avoid the extra postage in the US for a square card. Diane

  15. Holly Hatch says:

Wish I could be there, but I am retired and on a fixed income. I am one of the MILLIONS of people who love anything Anna Griffin, but this is somewhat out of my price range. How about being able to WIN a spot through a contest of some sort? Thanks anyway. Hope everyone has a fantastically wonderful time!!!!

  16. Deborah Perry says:

Sounds liken the start of a truly wonderful vacation for you. I’ve always wanted to see Charleston and Savannah, too, but that will have to wait for another time for me. I’ll love hearing about your trip, as I’m sure others will.

  17. Deborah Perry says:

Wonderful! I look forward to meeting you. Maybe your credit card company help you confirm your reservation. Good luck!

  18. myrna hartley says:

Help, they can’t find my reservation at hotel. I need to book the day before and after and she can’t do it until I show up confirmed.

    Please advise.

    Thank you in advanced,
    Myrna Hartley
    Conf. # 436188900

  19. myrna hartley says:

Deborah I will be there a day earlier too would love to meet for tea at 2:00.

Can’t wait to meet all you Griffinites.

  20. Jerilynn says:

Oh I am soooo excited. I’ve never stayed at such an extravagant hotel before. I’ve heard some ladies mention a famous tea service at the Ritz. I will definitely have to partake in that activity. I’m feeling like Cinderella starting out as the poor step child then turning into the princess who goes to the castle. Does that sound too cheesy? I’m so excited beyond belief. I’m probably like many of you other ladies and spend waaaaay too much money every time Anna makes a trip to HSN. Thank goodness for having the HSN credit card with all the wonderful flex pay options so I can spread out my payments. I live in the Portland, OR area. Just recently long lost relatives on my Father’s side that I didn’t even know existed tracked me down on Facebook and they just happen to live right outside of Atlanta in Buford so I will stay a few extra days and visit them for the first time and I’ve always wanted to visit Savannah and so I will add a couple of days and go there too. This event was meant to be. I emailed the coordinator and they are planning for 250 guests for this event and they are providing a bus to visit Anna’s headquarters. Thank you Anna for gifting us with this once in a lifetime opportunity. See you in November!

  21. ChrisK says:

Finally! I’ve been a Griffinite since the early days. I missed the fur bus at CKU in 2006 and I’ve wanted to attend an “Anna” function since then, and I can’t wait to meet you! Vintage elegance is my style! I had the opportunity of a lifetime to spend 3 days in the sampler room at the V&A museum in London. I was ready to move in, but I couldn’t talk my hubby/family into it;) I’m thinking this weekend will be another one of those opportunities like everybody has commented. When I meet you I’ll remind you that I’m the crazy V&A lady!!!

  22. Michele Ciccone says:

Hi Deborah. I have registered to go and I think I will also be arriving a day early but have not confirmed that yet. If I do, I would love to meet you for tea on Friday.

  23. Deborah Perry says:

For me, too! I’m so excited. This is just what I needed at just the right time. A trip just for me after years of caring for, then tidying up the affairs of my beloved, late mother, and building up good memories before undergoing the serious surgery I will need in a year or so. The recovery time is a year, if all goes well, so I want to check off whatever bucket list items I can before then.

  24. Deborah Perry says:

I’m booked! I’m so excited! I’m looking for a room mate. I’m flying in from Park City, Utah. I was born and spent the first 31years of my life in the NYC metro area. I don’t have any local paper crafting friends and I’m very much looking forward to meeting them at this event. Is anyone else coming out from the Intermountain west? I also hope I meet the lady from Singapore. I spent two weeks there a while back and loved it! Anna, thank you so much for putting together this once in a lifetime experience. What is the maximum attendance limit? Can you please ask the Ritz -Carleton to include free wireless connection for the attendees of your conference ? It’s currently not included. Is there a room discount or $50 voucher for those of us who want to extend our trip a day? I am planning on arriving a day early so I won’t be too tired from travel to enjoy Friday evening’s events. I would love to meet some of the attendees for the Ritz-Carleton’s famous afternoon tea, Friday at 2 p.m.. Who would like to join me?

  25. Gina says:

Looking forward to meeting you Grams Pei! This is going to be fun! And yes I have a wonderful hubby. I told him Anna Griffin is my favorite and he said well you can’t miss it.

  26. Debbie O'Neal says:

I am so excited about this event…Trying to see how I can fit this in our budget…maybe my family can send me as an early Christmas gift ! I would love to come meet you Anna….I taught your Layout Classes at a local scrapbook store for two years..with all that cutting and folding…labor of love. Love the fact you are with Cricut now and those cartridges and embossing folders take out some of that work to create something beautiful with Anna Griffin products 🙂

  27. Anna Griffin says:

So glad you are coming! Can’t wait to meet you. Yes we will be sending you some special mail!

  28. Donna Reed Przybylowski says:

Wow, sounds great and wish I could go, but being on disability, I just can not afford it, you ladies whom are going are so lucky, ENJOY!! Ca'[t wait to see pictures, wish I could go and learn more about the cricut, I have one but don’t use it much, need help learning, and I would love to be able to go shopping in the warehouse, ahh but to dream.

I love all the stuff on HSN today, especially the adhesives, and the colored cardstock!!.

    Thanks hugs

  29. Linda Coleman says:

OH MY GOODNESS! I would love to join in the fun but we are going to be at Disney. Please have another next year that I can join. My daughter and I will be there!

  30. Jessica says:

Hi Anna, I’ve just come across your blog, and am so glad I did.I’ll be watching HSN today. I love the Cricut cuttlebug fancy fold embossing folders. And the prettier bows. And that luscious cardstock… well, I could go on all day. Thank you so very much for these beautiful designs, and kits too.

  31. Sandy h says:

Ooooh, talk about a bucket list item. Unfortunately as a fixed-income widow whose income definitely NEEDS “fixed” there would be no way I could ever be able to afford such a wonderful experience with my favorite person. I agree with the others who have suggested a CD of the events and demos for those of us pining away at home. God bless all the attendees with a great weekend in November.
    Luv, Sandy

  32. Mary R says:

    Hi Anna,
I’d Love to meet you, but sadly this is not within my budget. It sounds like a wonderful opportunity, however if I spend that much on a wk-end, I wouldn’t have any $ to shop AG items. Hope there will be some videos for later purchase.

  33. Barbara Graham says:

To expensive for my budget. I could drive as I live in North Carolina but it would cost me my crafting budget for years. I would hate to be there and not be able to shop. Y’all have fun.

  34. deborah j.t.m. says:

Wow!!…..but I can buy crafts all year for the price of that weekend…. don’t get me wrong, if I have some extra $$$$ I’d love to join in the fun….but don’t think it’ll be in my budget this year.
Perhaps just have pricing for attending the events, not the hotel bookings, that would bring the price down a bit.
Hope everyone has a great time!!

  35. roian says:

My hubby wants to know if you have special things for husbands…sight seeing, pool party, etc. He’ll send me a little easier if he has activities!!

  36. Raquel L says:

Wow Anna! It’s official I’ve got my ticket! I’ll be attending and absolutely can’t wait. I know it will be wonderful and I look forward to it. My hubby loves me and is so kind! I watched the video again as I was showing him and I wondered will you mail out your special invitation to all the attendees? I would love to keep that keepsake in my scrapbook of special events in my life.
Looking forward to seeing you in person. Salute!

  37. Linda DeVries says:

Not this time; but I will love to hear all about it. Perhaps I can attend another one in a few years. My priorities presently are getting this house ready to sell (and a part of a huge tree just fell across the whole back roof), getting my dad;s small house ready for us to move into as our retirement home, and finishing helping our daughter with yet another advanced degree at university (year 11 coming up to total 12 or if necessary 13) to complete her goal or becoming a cochlear implant researcher. For a while now, I pretty much only have Anna Griffin products on my HSN card….and a lot of them. 6 months of purchases would have covered the event ticket, plane fare, and maybe some purchases. But I love what I have bought and family, etc. love the cards. So another time! Anna, love your home decor products too.

  38. Janet says:

    Hi Anna,

What an event!!! Like many others some “life events” may prevent may attendance this year. However I know it will be a HUGE success and I’ll have future opportunities to attend. Congratulations to all that are on their way and “chins up” to those who can’t make this one. Happy crafting to us all !!!!! 🙂 Counting down the hours and minutes now to your big show on HSN .

    Janet 🙂

  39. L Hazzard says:

I liked the sneak peek of the Endora Halloween collection. I enjoyed the Batastic Halloween collection Anna had previously. I wish she would come out with multiple kits for Halloween. Halloween is the main holiday that I make cards for.
It really is difficult to pick just one thing as my most favorite. Everything that Anna and her design team makes is made to seamlessly coordinate with just about everything else in her collection…regardless if the item was bought today or 5 years ago, it will still coordinate with her collection. Additionally, I enjoy that it’s not simply a craft retail experience, but that Anna has created a thriving and inspirational crafting community. Every new item that Anna comes out with yields a plethora of reaction from her crafting community. These savvy crafters come up with numerous ingenious ways to use her various products and tools. I am pleased with how responsive Anna Griffin is to her crafters. She listens to our needs and requests and actually designs products to suit the specific requests we suggest.

  40. LoriGC says:

Some of us have family and friends in Atlanta and would like to attend but dont need the hotel. Can we get tickets for class separate

  41. Terance in Texas says:

All i can saw is WOW, WOW, WOW and if i wasn’t getting married the month before i might be able to come, sounds like a once in a lifetime event, and i hope you have more in the future.

Ann your a busy woman, i’m so happy for your success,

  42. Loretta Wilson says:

I know it off the subject, but can you buy refill foil for the minc pen? And if so, where?

  43. HollyG says:

    Hello Miss Anna & Co!

I am loving this idea! The Ritz no less! A fitting place for you to hold your incredible event indeed! No question on the amount and time you and your team have devoted to this 3 day Crafting Extravaganza! I’m sure it has been #beautifulinthemaking for quite some time now!

Really happy about you being on HSN tonight!

    Take good care of you!

  44. Gina Karess says:

So excited! Anna, you are my hero and this is like a dream come true. And I also found out that my husband pays more attention to what I do than I realized, and is just the best hubby in the world. Brief recap of conversation:
Me: So, there’s this crafting event in Georgia…
Hubby: Road trip! [we live in Pennsylvania]
Me: do you know who Anna Griffin is?
Hubby: Sure, I know who she is.
    Me: really?
Hubby: yes, she’s that scrapbooking lady with blonde hair [still can’t believe he knew that]
Me: It’s her event, all weekend at the Ritz in Atlanta
Hubby: I can find things to do in Atlanta, maybe visit the CNN headquarters
Me: so we should go? [it’s a 12 hour drive each way]
    Hubby: sure, let’s do it!
    Me: [deliriously happy} big smile!

  45. Gloria Myers says:

  46. Diana Kessler says:

    Dear Anna,

***! Have I died and gone to Heaven? What a wonderful creating retreat in Atlanta!
This is definitely a weekend that will be filled with lots of creativity and fun! And to meet my heroine of “beauty in the making,” a true Southern Belle? Fabuliciousness!!!!

Your invitation is beautiful, Anna. I love how you made the invitation, tied it up with ribbon, and opened it to invite all your fans to Atlanta. How gracious of you to invite us to your company for a tour and have first dibs on your Super Sale!

I’m talking to another Anna fan to get her to attend the crafting weekend also. Hope we can both attend and learn all we can about the Cuttlebug and Cricut Explore Air.

Love ya, and thanks for the invitation!

  47. Pam Cooper says:

    OOOO…. what fun !!!
Now all I need is to convince hubby that
this will fit the budget…. wink…

  48. Lynn Ossolinski says:

My best friend just moved to Atlanta! I promised to visit her. This creative conference will be a great reason to go. What supplies should I bring?

  49. Lin M. says:

WOW – What an AMAZING event!!! Unfortunately I won’t be able to make it to this event. Hopefully this will become an annual event and I can meet you all in the future!
For those who are able to go – I know you will have a fabulous time!!!

    I’ll see you tonight on HSN… 🙂

  50. Gertrud says:

I am so excited!!!!!!! What an awesome idea! Always wanted to visit Atlanta, GA. Applied to Emory University and got accepted in high school. Would like to go back and take a tour while on this trip. Thanks for the opportunity to supplement our skills in such a scenic environment!!!

  51. Denita says:

I live in Atlanta, 20 minutes from the Ritz, are you selling tickets without the hotel stay?

  52. Trisha Love says:

Paulette Trent, I’m with you! Can’t wait to stay at the Ritz! I took my granddaughter there to the High Noon Sunday Tea when she turned 13, so much fun. And, I’ve been to meetings and events there. So excited to give up my bed and stay there for the weekend.

  53. Liz says:

It would be totally awesome to attend but the cost is out of my pocketbook. If I had known in advance before 2 shows on hsn, I could have afforded it. Lucky those who go. I like the idea that an Anna crafter to have either a video conference or video tape all for a set price and by invite only. It could make the rest of us Anna Griffin crafters could see all the wonderful creations made by you. I am jealous of those able to go. Have a great time.

  54. Barbara says:

well this all sounds absolutely wonderful, but my excitement was short lived, price certainly not in my budget. I could just die was so looking forward to going only live fours from Atlanta, so bummed. Well, maybe at another time. So happy for those that can go and have a blast. I’ll live it vicariously through you all. LOL

  55. Mary Speicher says:

Too high for my budget but I wish such a terrific time for all who can attend and an a totally awesome success to you. I know you will so enjoy putting faces to email names. Thanks for putting this together for your growing legion of fans.

  56. DorisMinear says:

Hooray!! I just purchased my ticket and my flight from Los Angeles, looking forward to meeting Anna and her staff.

  57. Ramona says:

So sad, a bit too pricey for my family. Maybe the next one can be held in the Midwest. Happy for the priviledged few.

  58. Rosie V. says:

Chris, the Minc foils are under “Minc” not “Anna Griffin.” I kept searching too and realized I was searching under the wrong name!

  59. Lou Marks (Lefty Lou) says:

    Dear Anna,
I wish I lived in Atlanta! I just saw your video invitation. Be still my heart and dry my tears…Oregon is about as far away from my wildest dreams-me getting to meet you, and craft my heart out-as could possibly be. Also, the cost is prohibitive. Why? Because I have spent my piggy bank on Anna items. Oh, the irony! I thank you for the idea, and the whole weekend sounds amazing. I can’t express my sadness about not being able to attend. But alas, some things are just not meant to be. Say, how about a West Coast version? Seattle, Portland (too much joy)? Ah, to be a creative heiress…Well, my sweet Anna, I thank you for remembering me on the phone and on your blog. I will still always be your most loyal and devoted fan. I will enjoy your shows, and hope to add a TEENY bit to my Anna collection (already into 2016 budget) Perhaps I will even have a chance to speak to you on the phone. I hope you have a terrific time this week, and a wonderful (sniff, sniff) weekend in November. I will be there in spirit…Love always to you and Georgie, Lefty Lou and Sammy

  60. Jonie Isenberg says:

This is the trip of a lifetime. A Crafter’s Dream. So happy I live in the south. Now if we can solve this little pesky handicap problem.

  61. Marlene Hite says:

For those attending will all supplies be furnished? Adhesive, scissors, etc. I’m thinking about it but would be flying in and decisions on what I would need to bring etc to consider.

  62. Dianne McDonald says:

    Awesome opportunity! I cannot wait!

Are you going to make us wait till the last minute for a list of items for tomorrow?

  63. Mary says:

    Hi Anna,

Looking forward to watching you on HSN tomorrow and getting more of your beautiful items. Sorry but being here in Maine going down for your workshop although ideal is out for me. I wish you luck in all your undertakings……

  64. Marcia Faulkner says:

I have my booked my spot and I am so excited, I can barely contain myself,. It will be so exciting to be there in person, as I know it will be a fabulous weekend fr everyone.

  65. Evelyn Y says:

You can use the Heidi Swapp Minc foil rolls from American Crafts in Anna’s Minc machine. These rolls are the ones available on HSN, but you can buy them at Joann’s or Hobby Lobby, too.

  66. Chris Hayden says:

Anna, it sounds wonderful and I hate to bother you here but I don’t know where else to ask this question. The minc foil rolls that are on HSN……are they to use in your minc? I see your glitter sheets but I’ve been waiting all month for your foil rolls. I know the minc pen needs special foil but I want foil to use in your minc machine. Thanks!

  67. Paulette Trent says:

The Ritz venue is all part of the elegance of Anna Griffin. I live in Atlanta too and can’t wait to stay at the Ritz! It’s such a beautiful hotel and I’ve never had a reason to stay there. . .but now I do!

  68. Doug G. says:

What an amazing opportunity for those who can attend! This will be the crafting event of a lifetime! As others have said, I would love if the classes could be recorded for those of us unable to attend, on DVD or on your website. Thanks, Anna, for coming up with such a wonderful weekend event, and hope everyone has an unbelievable time !!!!!!

  69. Evelyn Y says:

I just booked my ticket for this event. SO excited!! Just need to book travel to Atlanta now. Will probably add an extra day or two to the trip to make a mini-vacay out of this.

  70. Mewsmomtoo says:

Anna, what an AWESOME event!! For AG fans, I don’t think it could get any better 😀 I’m not able to attend, but the announcement certainly provides much for the imagination – Ritz-Carleton, unlimited access Craft Room, tour, classes, make & takes, fellow crafters, Super Sale first dibs & even Ritz buffets!! 😀 It is a weekend from Heaven. Can’t wait to hear about it from some of the attendees 🙂

  71. Mary R. Huff says:

Anna, It’s me again…I finally figured out how much etc the event will cost, duh! Oh, when u come to Michigan will u pls come in the Summer? Us Michigonians do not fly or drive much in the Winter!

  72. Susan says:

What an amazing opportunity for those who can afford to go! This will be the crafting event of a lifetime! As others have said, I would love if the classes could be recorded for those of us unable to attend, on DVD or on your website. Thanks, Anna, for coming up with such a fabulous event, and hope everyone has a BLAST!!

  73. Eleanor B brooks says:

I am so excited. This is experience of a lifetime. Where do we sign up at. So excited. Don’t won’t this to pass me buy

  74. Deborah Rosenow says:

How exciting to offer your experience to all of that love you and your ideas. Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity of a life time.

  75. Erin Glee says:

Congratulations on getting this fabulous experience for your birthday, Carolyn!
My birthday is Nov. 2nd but I am a “few” years older (wink!)….I read the Invitation to my husband and said I would love to go…I’m not as blessed as you…no creative weekend with Anna Griffin for me.

  76. Michelle Williams says:

What a delightful idea. Thank you for putting this together. I hope this is the first, that it is so successful you will want to do this every year. It is like a Princess Dream for adults.

  77. Claire Powers says:

Anna this sounds awesome!!! Wishing there were a more affordable option for those of us living in Atlanta who would opt out of the Ritz stay. Would love to experience your awesomeness!

  78. Karen says:

I unfortunatly do not fly (yes there is a stripe down my back) and driving from Michigan in November could be dicey. Maybe after the weekend you could pod cast the demo’s, great idea for those that can go, they will have a great time!!!!

    Hi Anna,
i can’t afford to go, but, if I could, I would certainly be there. Although I can’t attend, I sincerely wish you a wonderful and creative weekend with all of your fans. I know everyone who takes part will have a great time and learn the best of Anna’s crafting tips. I will be praying for you and everyone attending to have an unforgettable experience.
    Can’t wait until tonight…..soooo excited.

  80. Betty Andrews says:

Would really LOVE to go, but too pricy. I love the idea of paying for classes, and doing meals and lodging on our own. But at least, maybe you can make some tutorials after the fact and have available to the rest of us. Hope all who attend will have a wonderful time.

  81. Lisa Kay says:

This is so AMAZING… Congrats to all that can attend! Life is such an adventure… LIVE it and be Happy!

  82. Mary White says:

This sounds wonderful and the 15th is my birthday! This would be a dream come true for me! XO

  83. Lynn Williams says:

I want very much to attend. I do feel that, at this price, refundable tickets with adequately-timed cancellation would be much fairer because we never know what life-altering events might happen between now and then. If you have a standby list of people who miss the deadline or apply after the classes are filled, then you would still have full capacity.

  84. Jean Condon says:

This sounds wonderful, but certainly only for an elite group, the most money I have ever heard of for one day of classes. Maybe the family will for go Christmas gifts and be happy with hamburger helper for Thanksgiving dinner. Ha! Would love to go, but sadly I am not comfortable with spending that much money for admission+transportation (airfare)+all the great shopping you have waiting for such a short trip.

  85. Carolyn Kilgore says:

I’m so excited! I bought my ticket. I’m turning 40 on November 2 and this is what my husband is giving me for my birthday! 92. Raquel L says:

Would love to attend but with so many bills from cancer I just couldn’t afford it. A chance of a life time and I will have to pass. Hope you share with the rest of us what you make during these days and maybe a video of the classroom and make and takes! The Ladies who can attend are very L-U-C-K-Y !!!

  97. Raquel L says:

This sounds amazing and I want to be there! I wish I had a friend to share a room with but I’m going to do everything in my power to be there! Anna you guys must’ve read my mind. When struggling with my Cricut Explorer, I’m always saying, ” I need a special Anna Griffin class to do all of these projects!” My prayers have been answered. Question: Just curious will there be a ticket option for just the classes and meals only without the lodging or is that the only option? Can you let me know?
I hope tickets don’t sell out before I can buy mine! cheers! thanks Anna,

  98. Shellie Fontana says:
