There’s so much creativity just waiting to happen with products like the Cricut Maker, the Cricut Easy Press, Anna’s Holiday Ornaments Digital Cartridge and the Christmas Shaker Card Kit. We love to see what you are making, and we get inspired every time you post.

You haven’t seen a “beautiful in the making” how-to project since the end of August because of all the new product previews. Today we chose our amazing Christmas Collage Toppers 2 to inspire you to get crafting! Crafty girls have been connecting the dots across all of your Anna Griffin stash. Just look how we have used the Beribboned Frame die to accent the artwork on the card topper!

Greetings, all – and a special hello to Tracey and Lisa (and all others similarly situated)!
I would like to apologize for any discomfort that I have inadvertently contributed to, as I am a self-identified “Griffinite”. I don’t remember when I first came across the term – it may have been here on the blog, or during one of the craft shows – but I immediately took it as an informal reference to those of us who love Anna’s designs and products. I have used it since then, even though I’ve never met anyone in the “group”, because the comments I read here are indicative of a collection of people that I would like to know!
I never thought that it could feel exclusionary to others, and am sorry that it may have come across that way. To me this is a consistently inspirational and welcoming place – I hope it will be for all of you, as well!
    Regards, Anne
PS [Grama Pei – I remember the picture of you from the first Create…your posts are like a big hug!]

Serious Question : Viewing This Pencil Traced Image … Does The Cricut Maker ” SCAN & CUT ” — Like, The Brother Scan & Cut — Does ???

So, sorry ~~~ to hear, that this really was a serious issue, as I continued to read down a bit, after making my comment !!! I loved your launch this week and am looking forward to receiving my treasures. I am also glad to see the tutorials are back. I love the layering concept with the toppers.

  9. Dorothy Trexler says:

Everything is beautiful as always BUT we desperately need clear plastic sleeves to put our finished cards in so they don’t get soiled with customers handling them at craft shows.

  10. Debbie Tauzin says:

I love watching Anna! I DVR if I can’t watch when she’s on. Lol

Can someone explain to me what the website space is for ( under our email space below). Thx

Hi, T. M.! You are a Griffinite if you love Anna’s product and you want to be a Griffinite! (some folk dont love being in a group of anything, which is why I say ‘if you want to…’ 🙂 I think that some of the skypers get chosen because of their constant presence on Anna’s FB page, and social media, keeping the community fresh and flowing… Not sure though. They post frequently, Communicate with other Griffinite friends on social media, and etc. So, come join us. We’d love to have you there! There are SO many fans, and so few chances to Skype, and Anna does a marvelous job of sharing the experience among her followers!

  12. Grama Pei says:

Thanks for all the beautiful projects!

  14. Becky Jo Cannon says:

Ta dah! Great fun & inspiring show! I love this tutorial! I don’t have this set of dies, but you could sure use this same thought for other one’s. Thank you Anna & everyone who’s on your team we don’t see. They have got to be wonderful people, So blowing the kisses to all of them! And thankful for all they do to help you!

  15. Marcie Smith says:

What a fun and jam packed day!!!! I literally broke the bank Anna. I love Christmas so it was hard to say no to anything, plus I just had to pick up my new Cricut Maker w/autoship and the Easy Press. Can not wait to set both up and start crafting with them. I thought my Explore was better then sliced butter, but from what I have seen so far I just could not resist this new Cricut Maker. I love to sew as well. I also love to make wood projects so I am looking forward to the new knife blade that is coming out. I do have one question however. Will they be coming out with balsa wood stock as well?? Thanks Anna for all the wonderful tutorials and introductions into the new stuff that you put together in the autoship. Can not wait to see what this baby can actually do.

  16. Sandra Griswold says:

Thanks for the tutorial. I appreciate the many ways you share your creativity with all of us. You make us look. So good when we use all the lovely things that you create. Speaking of create, my hearts desire has been since the very first one is to attend and to meet you in person. Unfortunately I am on social security and it takes all I get to meet my household expenses. So I’m glad for all those who can afford too come. I can still dream!!!!!!

  17. Linda S. says:

Fussy cut…I’m glad they gave it a name. I always in my mind called it paper doll cutting. BTW the loved fussy cutting as a kid. I remember many thinking it was boring. I still to this day find it relaxing. This project card looks so appealing merely because of the fussy cutting. Thanks…beautiful card!

  18. Kathy blanchard says:

Another beautiful card using the frame. That’s why I buy it all. Thank you for great products

  19. Lindar says:

I appreciate all of your tutorials. You teach me the skills, the “reminders” and the confidence to create beautiful, heartfelt cards, scrapbooks and craft items. You bring such pleasure to me and all of my recipients. Thank you, Anna!!!

  20. Mary-Ellen says:

Please keep bringing these beautiful and creative ideas… so many great dies — wish I could own them all!!!

  21. Leslie Ramsey says:

Unfortunately I had to pass on this last craft day. Too many temptations. I still have a couple auto ships coming. Getting ready to buy a house sure puts a bite in the budget. But once we move I will FINALLY have my dream craft room. And THAT will be priceless!!!! Happy Crafting.

  22. Patricia May says:

Than you Anna for a wonderfull day on the 3rd it was very exciting to see the new items and to bring back some of the earlieronesMy hats off to you and all your staff, it must be a fun place to work and play.. Again thanks for all you do….

  23. Toni Bettencourt says:

    Anna;

What time zone are you using for the HSN shows? I am in California (Pacific Time).

  24. Becky H. says:

This card tutorial is showing ideas I will incorporate for some of my cards, thank you. Beautiful as always. Waiting for my order from the 3rd. Sending prayers out to other gulf coast crafters today be safe and well.

  25. Susie Rhoades says:

Super show Anna ! Just got the Cricut maker yesterday playing all day, just what you said it would do. Fabulous. Need to get the bright pad hope it will be a good price next show. I’ve spent my holiday stash already. Cheers till next time

  26. Carol says:

WHOA … Anna, how do you do it all? Developing, planning, testing, manufacturing, and distributing your products, would be would be enough to wear anyone out. However, adding on all the preparation involved to do your nearly monthly HSN shows where you personally demonstrate your lovely products (both in the US and the UK), maintaining a high profile presence on social media, blog updates and videos, plus organizing a spectacular crafty event for your fans (Create), would push any normal person over the edge. Whew, I am exhausted just thinking of it all … and I am sure there are more tasks on your plate as well.

So …. what I want to know is where you get your “Wonder Woman” pills … or perhaps they are “Anna Woman:” pills? Either way, I need some. (*wink*).

Thanx again Anna for being such an inspiration to the crafter in all of us. Sending best wishes for a wonderfully successful Create Event. I know it will be spectacular.

  27. DEBBY says:

Thank you for all the wonderful item you had on HSN and I think I bought half of them now watching the mail any day now

  28. Elaine Edwin says:

Many thanks to Anna and everyone at Anna Griffin Inc. The many hours of hard work, dedication and creativity as well as heartfelt care and concern for all of us is sincerely appreciated! I know i’m not the only one who looks forward to watching Anna demonstrate her products, reading her blog and viewing her videos. We are all looking forward to next month when Anna will inspire us again!

  29. Cecilia Fisher says:

I love the show you had HSN. How can I be part of the CREATE?

Thank you for sharing your talent!

  33. Anne with an "e" says:

    Good evening!
Another beautiful tutorial – aren’t you all exhausted? We Griffinites were in heaven with your wonderful shows, but that much air time doesn’t happen without a tremendous amount of work. (And no sleep! How did you manage to look as great at the end of such a long day as you did at the beginning?)
Thank you for the many fabulous products, and for more inspiration. Looking forward to playing with my new goodies, and to the upcoming shows. Have a wonderful, relaxing weekend!
    Regards, Anne

  34. janet geary says:

Got most of my Anna HSN buys today. Boy was I excited!!!! Thank you again Anna for my winnings last Friday. This was the first time I ever won anything and how great that it was Anna’s products. I am thrilled you will be on HSN in November. I don’t have to wait as long for those great deals. You and your team knocked it out of the park this time. Keep up the great work.

  35. Diana says:

I enjoyed the show on HSN. First package arrived today, so excited. Waiting on my Cricut Maker and the holiday ornaments. Hoping my Kodak Verite works with the Cricut Maker!

  36. Debbie Griffin says:

Wow I can’t believe all I bought! It started arriving yesterday! I love everything I’ve received so far and can’t wait to see that brown truck come up the driveway!

  37. Hobo says:

I am quite jealous reading the comments from everyone who already received their new goodies! I just received the announcement that mine have been shipped and won’t arrive for another week! There was so much to see and do and I appreciate it all. I think like so many of us retirees on limited incomes we have to learn to separate all of our wants from all of our needs. Since I have an older Expression machine I can’t justify spending more for the latest version. But I got so many other things that I can use. I find I use my dies more than my Cricut anyway. I better live till I am 125 if I am going to use all my paper and fabric crafting supplies! Something tells me that won’t happen so I hope my grandkids enjoy it when I am gone. But while I am here I will enjoy it all myself along with them. I have created a couple of Griffinites in them!

  38. Debbie Morimoto says:

Thank you for everything. I bought way too much. My husband now does not have to worry about Christmas, anniversary and birthday gifts so he is happy. I can’t wait for the items to arrive and start creating!

  39. Jane Gotelli says:

I have eleven products coming today by UPS. Usually come about 8pm. So excited. One more coming Monday. They put three more things from another designer on extended delivery. So happy it’s not my Anna’s goodies. Very sad though because so many of my expenses have increased that I have to be very careful in the future. I am blessed to have lots of extra Anna bought in the past so I have to learn to be happy for all the people who can still enjoy new things. Thank you for all the beautiful, Anna .

  40. Joy Penegar says:

I just received my box of Anna Griffin goodies from HSN via UPS. The box was totally damaged & every paper product was bent and crumpled. Also missing were my Christmas Dies & insert cards that must have fallen out in the hole on the side. Thank goodness the embossing folders are strudy plastic. I am afraid to open the Cricut Maker to find its not working. This is not the 1st time I’ve received a damage box, but it looks like it was dropped a plane.

  41. Teddy says:

So glad that you will be back on HSN next month, not once but twice! Take your vitamins, as my mom would say. Thanks for this tutorial. It is so beautiful. See you in November whether or not my budget can take it!

  42. Sue Kaminske says:

I will be in Houston for Quilt Festival so I will come see you on Thursday! I am a quilter too!
I bought more then I thought as I have so much now! Time to bring all the Christmas card boxes soon!
I love this card you made for us I will try to make it!
    See ya soon!! 🙂

  43. Nana D says:

Thanks Anna, got the first shipment of my items! so excited to do the shaker cards with my 6 yr old grand-daughter! Enjoy your long weekend!

  44. Sandy Christman says:

Thank you for all the wonderful items you showed on Oct. 3rd. I love the idea of cutting the ivory cardstock to be used under an embellishment. That really makes a difference & I will have to try it.

  45. Linda holland says:

I got my Cricut maker today yay! I am rearraning my craft room to make more room for more crafting. Waiting for my Easy Press I will keep watching

  46. Randellyn Bossom says:

Beautiful cards, I love how mimicking the topper with the diecut really gives the card a pop of design and the colors are just perfect, traditional yet contemporary. I look forward to see what sneak peek and BTS will be for Create. Finally, THANK YOU for having a craft day on a weekend….I hope HSN is listening to their customers and planning more for the new year! Thanks for the update, I’ve been trying to go back and watch all the segments of craft day on HSN (love that they save YT videos for later viewing…much appreciated). Have a great weekend Anna and Co.

  47. Denise Waye says:

Love all my products the angel toppers are great and the confetti. dies, and the pocket dies, got to get a move on , Lol! Many blessings to you!

  51. SheliaP says:

Loved the shows Anna! The Griffinites calling and skyping is always a special treat!

So happy that you’re showing & giving us tips on how to make things. Thanks a bunch!

    Lefty Lou ….
    hope that knee heals fast.

  52. June Estep says:

nice. I like the layering and fussy cutting. The first thing I do with the toppers is, foam tape two matching ones together. I like the dimension. I don’t mind cutting the amount in half by doing this. I like it that much. So, when mine arrive, get out the foam squares….and double them up. Then I will get out the 50 Christmas cards I purchased to put his altogether, some of the glitter layers, some rosettes, some left over embellies……………and I will have 50 fabulous cards in one evening. Hope you all have a good time at Create 3, and will look forward to seeing a lot of it online.

  53. tinker says:

  55. Leah Stubbs says:

Can’t wait to receive all the goodies I ordered on the 3rd and I really LOVE the shadow idea you gave us today! Thanks also for having my friend, Linda, (from North Carolina) Skype into your 7:00 hour on Tuesday. She is the very person who has “turned me on” to beautiful card making!

I started a bit later in life to do crafting and it has really been so much fun! Unfortunately I missed out on the new cricut so hopefully they will be back again in the future. Keep inspiring!!

October 3 was a great show, and it started me thinking in so many different ways how to use the old with the new and what new techniques and brand new products would open new windows of design. Looking forward to sitting down at my craft spot and seeing what creations are just waiting to materialize with a little work and imagination. Thanks, Anna.

  69. BARBARA SHIKIAR says:
