July 11th will be here before you know it, and we have all the showtimes you will need for Craft Day! We will be on at midnight, 1am, 8am, 11am, 12pm, 3pm, 7pm, 8pm and 11pm EST! Let’s jump into all the birthday fun! Did you know July is HSN’s birthday too?

We love the incredible texture that Deco Flock adds to your favorite shapes, diecuts and even sentiments! There’s a fun, new palette that is perfect for any soiree! Laurel Dies Graduation Scrapbook + QVC May 30th Preview 4

We hope you’ve had a great week. We have LOVED seeing your scrapbook posts on our Facebook page! There are some seriously gorgeous pages out there! We have an amazing tutorial to share with you featuring our Laurel Cut and Emboss Dies with a side of serious papercrafting!

Laurel Dies Scrapbook Page

Finished Size: 12×12 scrapbook page

Materials:

  • Anna Griffin® Gold/Ivory Cricut® Cuttlebug™ Version 3, 510-398
  • Anna Griffin® Craft Essentials Tool Kit (craft knife and cutting mat) 442-864
  • Anna Griffin® Tool ‘n One, 457-852
  • Anna Griffin® Laurel Dies, 611-006
  • (1) 12”x 12” Piece of pearl metallic cardstock
  • (2) Strips of gold foil cardstock, cut to ¼”x 12”
  • (4) Pieces of gold foil cardstock, cut to 4 ½”x 9”
  • (4) Pieces of gold foil cardstock, cut to 5”x 5 ½”
  • (1) Piece of gold foil cardstock, cut to 3 ½”x 5 ½”
  • (1) Piece of floral cardstock, cut to 4”x 6”
  • (48) Strips of floral cardstock, cut to ¼”x 4”
  • Photo, cut to 3 ¼”x 5 ¼”
  • Foam squares
  • Adhesive (tape runner)
  • Journaling tag
  • Sentiment
  • Flower and butterfly embellishments
  • Pencil

Instructions:

Using the Cricut® Cuttlebug™ and Laurel Dies, die cut and emboss the 4 pieces of 5”x 5 ½” gold foil cardstock using the largest Laurel Die and the Small Medallions Die.

Fussy cut the medallions and two of the laurel dies as shown.

Draw an oblong frame on the back of one of the 4 ½”x 9” gold foil pieces. We used one of our sticker sentiment shapes for inspiration. You can also trace around the inside of any of your cutting dies or print out the photo below and trace it!

Fussy cut the border using a craft knife.

Use the cut out as a stencil to draw the shape on the remaining 3 strips of 4 ½”x 9” pieces of gold foil cardstock as shown.

Using double-sided adhesive, attach 12 strips of floral cardstock diagonally on each frame, spacing evenly.

Adhere 12 strips in the opposite direction, giving a lattice appearance.

Attach to the gold foil frame bases using foam square adhesive.

Assembly:

Using double-sided adhesive, attach the two strips of gold foil cardstock horizontally across the top and bottom of the 12”x 12” piece of pearl metallic cardstock, approximately ¼” in.

Attach the 4”x 6” piece of floral cardstock to the center of the layout using foam square adhesive.

Adhere the 3 ½”x 5 ½” piece of gold foil cardstock to the center of the floral cardstock using double-sided adhesive.

Attach the photo to the center of the gold foil cardstock with double sided adhesive.

Attach one of the lattice frames on each side of the photo.

Using foam square adhesive, attach the Laurel die cut pieces as shown.

Attach embellishments, sentiment and journaling tag.

Now, let’s take a look at our last QVC UK preview before our shows on May 30th at 12pm and 6pm!

How to: Graduation Scrapbook Page + QVC UK May 30th Preview 3

Hi friends,

It’s graduation season! This time of year it is so important to celebrate a young person’s rite of passage. We know that as proud parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents and friends that you will be snapping lots of photos to remember the special occasion. A scrapbook page is an excellent gift to give, or keepsake to display.  Today’s project is one that you’re going to love creating!

Get out your Border Trims Dies and supplies, and let’s make this scrapbook page together!

Border Dies Scrapbook Page

Finished Size: 12×12 scrapbook page

Materials:

Instructions:

Using the Cricut® Cuttlebug™, die cut the 2 pieces of peach cardstock and 3 pieces of gold foil cardstock with the Border Trim die. (Note, we did not emboss).

Cut one of the Border Trim pieces horizontally, leaving a 3” piece and a 4” piece. Set both pieces aside.

Cut the two remaining gold foil Border Trim die cut pieces down the center, lengthwise.

Repeat for the two peach Border Trim die cut pieces.

Using the photo and cutting mat as a guide, cut the corners of the 4 long border trim strips at a 45 degree opposing angles to form the frame of the picture. This is called a mitered corner.

Repeat by mitering the corners of the peach border trim strips.

Using the cutting mat as a guide, cut each end of the ¼”x 11” strips of gold card stock at a 45 degree angle to make a mitered border for the edge of the page.

Picture Frame Assembly:

Align the gold Border Trim die cut pieces along the four sides of the picture, making sure the corners align.

Place the peach Border Trim die cut pieces approximately ¼” in from the gold foil Border Trim Die cut pieces. Adhere using double-sided adhesive.

Assembly:

Using double-sided adhesive, adhere the white and gold cardstock to the peach striped cardstock.

Align the gold ¼” strips of cardstock along the four sides of the gold and white cardstock piece, making sure the corners align. Secure with double sided adhesive.

Approximately 4” from the left side of the layout, adhere the gold 4” and 3” Border Trim die cut pieces as shown.

Using foam squares, adhere the photo and frame, making sure to cover the gap in the Border Trim die cut pieces.

Adhere the journaling tag using foam squares.

Using foam squares, attach the gold bow to the top of the journaling tag.

Attach the floral sticker embellishments as shown.

How to: Treasury Stamps and Dies Birthday Scrapbook Page

We hope you are enjoying National Scrapbook Month and all the incredible pages we have been sharing. Please continue sharing all of your beautiful layouts with us on Facebook for your chance to win our daily grab bag giveaway!

For today, we are excited to share a happy birthday layout that you can recreate for any of your friends and family.  We love crafting with our Treasury of Stamps and Dies, they are so versatile!

Get out your supplies and let’s create!                                                                                                                                                                                                                  Finished Size: 12×12 scrapbook page

Materials:

Instructions:

1. Stamp 4 cakes on 4 pieces of ivory cardstock using the clear ink from Treasury Ink Set.

2. Emboss the 4 cakes using the pink embossing powder from Treasury Embossing Powders.

3. Stamp the sentiment on ivory cardstock using the gold ink from the Treasury Ink Pack.

4. Emboss using the gold embossing powder from Treasury Embossing Powders.

5. Using the Cricut® Cuttlebug™ cut the following:

  • 2 smaller ovals from the double-sided pink patterned cardstock using the Fancy French Frames smaller oval die

  • 2 larger ovals from the double-sided pink patterned cardstock using the Fancy French Frames larger oval die

  • 2 large cake shadow layer dies from the double-sided pink patterned cardstock using the Treasury Stamps and Dies

  • 4 small cake die cuts from the pink embossed cake stamp using the Treasury Stamps and Dies

  • 1 shadow layer sentiment frame die cut from the gold embossed sentiment using the Treasury Stamps and Dies

  • 2 large bows from the pink double-sided cardstock using the Perfect Bow die.

  • 2 small bows from the pink double-sided cardstock using the Perfect Bow Dies.

6. To assemble each bow, carefully fold the shorter tabs to the center of the bow and adhere.

7. Wrap the long tab around the middle and adhere.

8. Cut each of the 4 bow tails in half and set aside.

Assembly:

  1. Using double-sided adhesive, attach the two strips of black and white striped cardstock vertically approximately 2” in from each side of the white and gold patterned cardstock.

2. Adhere the dark pink patterned strips horizontally on the top and the bottom of the layout with double-sided adhesive.

3. Attach the two strips of black and white patterned cardstock to the center of the dark pink strips of cardstock using double-sided adhesive.

4. Cut the pink balloon card base from the Treasury Cards and Envelopes to 4 ½”x 6 ½” and place it in the center of the layout with foam squares.

5. Using foam squares, attach the 3 ½”x 5” dark pink patterned cardstock to the center of the Treasury Card layer.

6. Adhere the photo to the center of the dark pink patterned cardstock using double sided adhesive.

7. Adhere the 2 large ovals, dark pink patterned side up, in the center of each of the black and white striped strips using foam adhesive.

8. Using foam squares, attach the smaller ovals, light pink patterned side up to the center of each of the larger ovals.

9. In the center of each oval, place the cake die cuts in the following order from bottom to top; pink double-sided cardstock, pink embossed cake, pink embossed cake. Layer and attach using foam adhesive.

10. Using foam squares, attach the pink bows to the layout at the bottom of each of the ovals as shown.

11. Adhere the small grey layer to the bottom of the photo with foam squares.

12. Attach the sentiment to the center of the grey layer with foam squares.

13. Adhere the floral embellishments as shown.

How to: Blooming Decoupage Scrapbook Page

Hello, hello!

We are continuing with our beautiful in the making projects in honor of National Scrapbook Month, and we have an interesting way to take our Blooming Decoupage Card Making Kit and turn it into an amazing, dimensional scrapbook page! Our products are so versatile, and this one is no exception! Want to learn more? Let’s get started!

Blooming Decoupage 12×12 scrapbook page

Materials:

  • Anna Griffin Gold/Ivory Cricut Cuttlebug™ Version 3, 510-398
  • Cuttlebug 6”x 13” Adaptor Plates, 474-319
  • Anna Griffin Blooming Decoupage Card Kit, 599-078
  • Anna Griffin Paper Tricks Embossing Folders, 395-853
  • (1) 12”x 12” Piece of pearl metallic cardstock
  • (1) Piece of pink metallic cardstock, cut to 4”x 12”
  • (1) Piece of light blue cardstock, cut to 4”x 12”
  • Photo, cut to 3”x 5”
  • Foam squares
  • Adhesive (tape runner)
  • Hot glue adhesive
  • (5) Pieces of scrap chipboard
  • Scissors

Blooming Decoupage Materials:

  • Floral die cut pieces (H, I, L, M)
  • (2) Light blue bows
  • Sentiment sticker
  • Gold embellishment stickers
  • (4) White and pink card bases, cut to 3 ¾” wide
  • (3) White and blue card bases, cut to 3” wide
  • (3) White and yellow card bases, cut to 2 ½” wide
  • (1) Pink patterned card layer
  • (1) Blue patterned card layer, cut to 3 ¼”x 5 ¼”
  • (1) Gold foil layer

Instructions:

  1. Using the Cricut Cuttlebug and the small Pleated Rosette folder, emboss the following: 4 strips of the white and pink card bases, cut to 3 ¾”wide.

2. Emboss 3 strips of the white and blue card bases, cut to 3” wide.

3. Emboss 5 strips of the white and yellow card bases, cut to 2 ½” wide.4. Fan fold each. Attach end to end and then form in to a circle. Assemble one rosette in each color. Set 2 white and yellow strips aside.

5. Secure each rosette to a small piece of chipboard using hot glue.

6. Trim the edges of the two remaining white and yellow strips from the center of the longest side to the center of each of the shorter sides.

7. Fan and adhere to the chipboard using hot glue adhesive.

8. Assemble the flowers in the following order:

9. For the largest flower, assemble from bottom to top: L1, L1, L2, L2

10. For the two medium flowers, assemble from bottom to top: M1, H1, H2, M2

11. For the smallest flower, assemble from bottom to top: I1, I2

12. Using a tape runner, assemble the photo and photo border from bottom to top in the following order: gold foil layer, pink patterned layer, blue patterned layer, photo.

Assembly:

  1. Using a tape runner, adhere the 4×12 strips of light pink metallic cardstock and the light blue cardstock to the pearl metallic cardstock.

2. Attach the large, pink rosette to the bottom left corner of the layout and secure with foam squares.

3. Add the blue and white rosette to the right side of the layout. Adhere with foam squares.

4. Adhere the yellow and white rosette to the top left corner of the layout. Tuck under the pink and white rosette slightly.

5. Place the largest die-cut flower in the center of the pink and white rosette. Place the medium die cut flowers in the center of the blue and white rosette and the yellow and white rosette.

6. Using foam squares, attach the photo and photo border to the center of the layout.

7. Attach the gold embellishment stickers as shown.

8. Adhere the sentiment sticker and bows to the bottom right corner of the photo.

9. Tuck journaling tag under the photo and secure in place using foam adhesive.
